  Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants. The room I stayed in was well equipped with bath robes etc., and a very... vad folk säger » comfortable bed. - The hotel was gorgeous and the staff very helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet rather than a continental breakfast. The complimentary shuttle service was fast and the drivers very courteous and helpful. There was a free wine hour in the evening and room service was prompt. This was the very best experience I've ever had at a hotel!

Very classy all the way. - We love the central location, super friendly staff, well appointed rooms, manager's hour, cookies, and big breakfast. They were very helpful in figuring out how to get to the airport while avoiding the traffic/congestion for the downtown parade. We plan to stay here whenever we are in Houston.

  Staff on reception, were excellent, extremely welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Definitely would stay there again. The bed (12th Floor) so comfy a real treat! - I enjoyed the resturant a variety of food buffet. My husnand and i loved it. Everyone was polite and helpful. We would stay here again.
