  Location is central a little the wrong side of town but this is why it is cheap I thnk if you can go along with the crazies around its fine.   The pool was the reason why we chose the hotel. The restaurant was clean and the food was nice with the menu having lots to choose from.   All desk staff were extremely courteous, polite and helpful. Room Service even folded clothes that were on the floor and laid them on the bed. I plan to return to san Francisco next year and would more than likely stay here again.   The hotel was amazing, so relaxing and beautifully done up. The restaurant/bar was also a very nice surprise - really good food and wine, in a great environment. Interesting area, not too touristy which we liked.

The daily maid service was impeccable and the staff were all very pleasant. The wi-fi worked well and was free though not quite fast enough to take large downloads like movie files well. An excellent value for the money in a very convenient location just 10-15 minutes walk to Union Square at a fraction of the price.
