Everything!!! The hotel had a great location, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, great value for money (compared to the other hotels we used on our 5 week holiday in the US) and the room was well set-out, clean and very comfortable. I didn't what to leave.....this hotel is a 10 out of 10. Keep up the great work.... -

... vad folk säger » valet greeted us on the street my wife and I felt we had the full attention of the efficient and friendly staff. The room was clean, nicely decorated and pretty much perfect. We were able to walk to dinner and home from the theater, and in the morning took a stroll by the White House. Awesome!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of and value at the restaurant. Great food at reasonable prices. My husband was able to order a couple of specialty beers that he really enjoyed. Our server - Shannon was very friendly, he really made our two meals there a delight. Thank you. -

As a mature couple we found the Hotel to meet all of our needs.
The staff were friendly, the room was large with two double beds, comfortable and clean. We had room 410 right outside the lift but with one exception it wasn't noisy.

Flexiblity of the staff to accomodate our immediate needs. For instance,
while checking in we immediately needed access to our vehicle that had
already left to be parked. Despite a busy time for the hotel, they
retrieved our vehicle. Later, we needed to leave the hotel quickly due
to an emergency situation at home in Michigan, the staff checked us out,
and stored our bags enabling us to complete some necessary phone calls

Our experience exceeded our expectations. We thought all of your staff
were very well trained to be friendly to guests. We were there for a
marathon and didn't have dressy clothing and when we had friends

We thoiught the staff were - to a person - friendly, helpful, charming and really seemed to go out of their way to help us. The kids loved the St. Regis bags they received. There was a slight problem with our booking which was sorted out in a timely and efficient manner - everyone - from the concierge staff to the reception people were friendly and charming! Well done to all of them! WE will DEFINITELY be back!

The Staff!!! Could not be more gracious without being intrusive...always professional, friendly and available. These folks know how to treat their guests!
Food was delicious. We dined in the Lafayette at least three times and in the lower bar late one evening.
The room, which was upgraded, was lovely, quiet and everything was fresh and clean.

location (a bit closer to White House would mean sleeping in a tent on their lawn :) ), when staying on Executive level you have access to the Executive Lounge - basic drinks and fresh fruit during the day - very convinient because you don't have to be just in the room when in a hotel, staff very kind and trying to help -

It's about 3 blocks away from the Metro which made it very easy getting to all tourist attractions. It was great to have a kitchen with us. I didn't find a supermarket close by, by CVS next door had many choices for us to make sandwiches to bring with us to our tours.

It is also close enough to the National Mall to walk to the Museums. The staff was very helpful and stored my luggage for the last day so I could attend the Inauguration ceremonies.

Room was small, but perfect for 1-2 people with a nicely lit desk and a large bathroom. Location is fabulous for restaurants and subway access, parking in garage over Farragut North. en route to Hawaii. Given room upgrade not quite a suite but corner room views both ways. Biggest chocolate strawberrys/and cake and cream ive ever seen as a special gesture and free. staff and conciege extra polite and helpful.As previous comments this is a luxury standard by which all others should be judged the besr hotel we have stayed in and weve stayed in some top ones. the hotel is steeped in history take the trouble to enquire????

Location is great for sight seeing. We were able to walk to everything and Metro is half block away if needed. Staff was very friendly and had nice recommendations for places to eat. The staff were courteous and helpful. Liked the Starbucks down on the ground floor. Loved the fact it was above Metro Center and around the corner from the White House, Spy Museum, Crime Museum and some high street brands plus Macy's across the street. Also within walking distance to Chinatown and restaurants. Very central and accessible because of subway below.
Good breakfast. appreciated the fact it had free laundry room use - very important as we were on the road for a month.
