Good restaurants (especially "Founding Farmers") around the corner. Whole Foods was very convenient to get healthy food to have in the suite. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We thought it was a great value for the location!

  I stayed at the hotel with my 18 year old son, both of us thought the Melrose was a very good hotel with large very comfortable rooms. The location was very good 15 min walk to the Lincoln Memorial or White House and only 5 min to Georgetown or the Metro.   OH MY GOODNESS!!! We had the BEST time in DC!! This hotel is MY favorite hotel EVER!! We will be staying here every time we come to DC. The staff is UNBELIEVABLE!   This was a work related trip so I did not get to do much in DC Area. I did like this Boutique Hotel, Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good Restraurants within walking distance - We were pleased to be so convenient to GWU Hospital while our brother-in-law underwent surgery for cancer and to find the hotel more than satisfactory.
