  The staff were extremely friendly. Our room was very clean and was cleaned often. The location is within walking distance of Georgetown. - Front desk Staff and cheese Chef amenable attitude , extremely knowledgable. Very pleasant evening because of him.

  The building itself is magnificent - harks back to a more refined time. We were a group of 5 "mature" college girlfriends, having our every-other-year reunion. The location was great, being within walking distance to the White House and many other sites, and 1 block away from the Metro. The breakfast buffet (not included) was beyond plentiful with... vad folk säger » anything you might want, including individually prepared eggs. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, giving us rooms next door to each other as reques - It was a day layover for 25th wedding ani /50th birthday en route to Hawaii. Given room upgrade not quite a suite but corner room views both ways. Biggest chocolate strawberrys/and cake and cream ive ever seen as a special gesture and free. staff and conciege extra polite and helpful.As previous comments this is a luxury standard by which all others should be judged the besr hotel we have stayed in and weve stayed in some top ones. the hotel is steeped in history take the trouble to enquire????

  Great accomodations and a great price through letsbookhotel.com. Room was spacious and comfortable, food good, staff excellent.
