  The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic and we were within walking distance of all shops and there were some lovely restaurants nearby. - I had a park view room so it was as nice to stay in as go out. It was so quiet, which a big plus!

  This was our first trip to the USA and New York.The staff were friendly and very efficient. Started with Peter who radioed our arrival to reception even before we were out of the taxi. Together with Caesar on the door they were always there with advise on destinations and restaurants, and treated us like we were family. The Girls on reception ( ve... vad folk säger » ry sorry but I lost the card with your names but you know who you are) who had us booked in 5 minutes after arriving and were always smiling and alway - The location is perfect - right at Columbus Circle: 10 min walk to Times Sq but a residential area so no tourist crowds; lots of cafes and restaurants within a block or two; two subway lines just across the street from the hotel; extremely friendly and helpful staff -- they took time to know us and remember what we were there for and asked how things were going; rooms are large by NY standards and very well-appointed.   The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

  Good base to explore New York. Very comfortable hotel, room was spotlessly clean with plenty of toiletries & beautiful towels. Room comfort excellent. We couldn't check in til 4pm but not a problem as we left our luggage there so we were able to start our tour of New York. The following morning again we were able to leave our luggage to ena... vad folk säger » ble us to finish sightseeing. I would highly recommend this hotel. - The security of the hotel. After hours having to use your room key to get past the door security officer then also to make the lift work makes you feel safe. The staff is always happy and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay memorable for the right reasons. The breakfast was awesome too.
