The whole experience, albeit just for one night, was comfortable, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about getting to Mt. Rushmore. I would recommend it anytime. Location was wonderful, right down town Keystone. Made it easy to go with the family. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and kind. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room was larger than expected and nicely apportioned.

Convenience of the shopping area, walking right from hotel to the connected boardwalk - swimming was awesome, quiet rooms, staff explained very thoroughly and good customer service. Close to everything. Location was good. Tongue in cheek, we laughed to know there was no potato salad because a bus load had 'clean them out'. Who needs potato salad. Wasn't one of the cleanest motels, it was fair. Walls are a little thin, but noise wasn't a major issue. No bfst. No coffee, no breakfast, high cost. frezzing cold pool, children were so cold they couldn't stay long. Coffee pot with no coffee or plug or condiments. No free breakfast. Parking spaces are too small for a regular size car, but with a permit you can park in another parking lot for free. beds could have been better. grand kids loved the pool area. The fact that my rush more closed, and the snow storm that shut down all the power to the town and the hotel had to leave early. Missed a light breakfast. Parking was very very scary - way too narrow, being there on a holiday weekend the tour bus took up way too many places, bigger vehicles HAD to take more room and still hard to get into place, doors remained unlocked - safety issue for me -. Room was very small and carpets were very spotted, and the floor creaked/ like it wasn't very solid underneath and I was on the ground floor. Staff was kind of rude/to busy it seemed. And for what you get, was priced a little high. Uncomfortable beds, cold hot tub, inappropriate television channels for kids, crumbs under fitted sheets (We only know this because the fitted sheets were too small for the beds). We also had an odor in a room that they tried to cover up with an air freshener.
