The hotel was located centrally and had a wonderful park within walking distance. The facility was very clean and the staff was very helpful. -

Once there it looked like we booked at the no tell hotel. However, the
room was very clean, we ate breakfast sitting out on the chairs on bay
side and it was wonderful and relaxing. It was directly in the center of
everything including the beach location. Yet the room was quite inside

The accommodations were excellent. The cleaning staff did a great job everyday. You couldn't ask for better location. Surrounded by excellent places to eat along with the best ice cream shops on the island. We can't wait to go back! Shipwrecks Hotel staff were also very friendly!

Everything! Room was steps from dock, pool, beach, restaurants, shops,
kayaking, fishing, you name it, is all in walking distance! Owners are
wonderful, accommodating, nice people! Couldn't ask for more!

Really friendly, comfortable hotel where the decor is New England/antique in theme. We loved it! Bed was super comfy with generous pillows and nice bedding. We had a lovely self contained apartment at the Flamingo. It contained
everything to prepare meals and good cold storage facilities for food.
Nice little outside area suitable for 2 people attached to the room.
Staff were helpful. We asked if a trip to the everglades could be
arranged and they did this for us. Despite reading a comment indicating
it was a long way from the beach this was not the case. No more than
100 yards away from the warm waters of the Gulf. Plenty of room on a
vast beach.
