  We stayed at this hotel on our road trip to California. We actually booked the room to be able to visit la at a lower budget and with free parking. Beware of the traffic jam to go to la that are basically non stop day and night. We thought we would take the train rail but been advised not to do so as it might get dangerous. We finally took our car... vad folk säger » to get to la and avoid the highways. No traffic jam on normal road, it took us half an hour to Hollywood boulevard. Avoid the highways at all cost.Th - Downey is between downtown LA and Anaheim, so it was convenient for us getting around to where we want to go. Not only the hotel itself; the whole neighborhood is quiet and clean. The room is huge and comfortable.

  I was originally booked for four night and from the time I checked in on sun sept 9 and ended up checking out sept 14 as I needed to add another day and the staff was gracious enough to let me have the room on the added night for the discounted rate. I was quite pleased as I am a native of Downey visiting back from northern cal and it was convieie... vad folk säger » ntly located nearby family and the room was very nice spacious and very comfy and the couch and coffee table added a homey atmosphere. - The room and property was very clean and well maintained. I will definately stay there again.

  I really liked the security. Being a solo traveler. It was important. The staff patrol the grounds and I was really impressed when one of them called and told me I had left my car window down.
