  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. - Location, Location, Location View is lovely!   Hotel granted my request for a refrigerator. Room was clean and more spacious than I expected and the beds were comfortable.   We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

  Hotel location was excellent. Motel is not modern buy very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. We were lucky with the wheather in october. 24 C for 2 days. Because of the US Federal Shutdown, the Parks were closed but we decided to walk the beautiful trails up to Cadillac Mountain - 4 miles up and 4 miles down. Hotel has great room for continental breakfast, clean and staffed making sure everything is stocked and working. Maid staff and front desk very friendly. Would definitely go back. - I was there for the mdi marathon. They moved up the breakfast so that they marathoners could still eat it. I thought that took some foresight and was very considerate. The location was excellent. I also liked the sheet that was handed out that told you favorite places in town. It was honestly a very good experience!

  We loved everything about the Robbins Motel! We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for what we were looking for. We hiked all day at Acadia and this was a perfect place to come back to. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was just minutes away from Acadia National Park and all the shops and restaurants in Bar Harb... vad folk säger » or. We will be staying here again when we come back to visit! - My boyfriend and I arrived much later than we anticipated, well after office hours. But the friendly staff left a note on the door with our room number which was left unlocked for us. Allowing us to rest and check- in and pay in the morning. Very friendly and hospitable staff.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary and spent six nights at Bar Harbor Inn, and my wife has since told me that my selection of hotels was perfect. The lobster pie was incredible! - Great location, very clean, nice room, easy to park next to the room, great continental breakfast, great view of the ocean. It was a short walk to town.   Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  A completely awesome experience. The room was enormous, with a huge bathroom. There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor. The nightly rate might appear expensive, but this is actually a good value. - Superb accommodations and a lovely edifice!

  First, the beds were great; comfortable, plush, lottsa pillows, quilt, and the room was pretty quiet (except for occasional footfalls upstairs, but, alas...).   My husband and I really had a great time at Mira Monte and would for sure go back if we visit bar harbor again which I hope will be sooner than later. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was super yummy, and we really loved our room. What I also liked about Mira Monte was if you wanted you could mingle with other guests or you could have you priv - The Victorian flavor of the house is perfect, right down to the antiques and decorations, our bathroom was updated and the little porch off the room was a nice surprise, as was the gas fireplace! The owner held a wine & cheese gathering before we left for dinner each night and entertained us with stories about the town and its history. Breakfast buffet was incredible with so many choices, including gluten free items! The walk to town was so close too. We loved it!

We enjoyed having our own table at breakfast and not having to make small talk with strangers early in the morning. The cocktail hour provided an opportunity to meet others if one so desired.
