We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I was very comfortable and the staff was excellent. If we are in alaska again or if we travel again and they have a Aspen Suite Hotel in the area we would stay there and I would recommend you to anyone. Beds and Bath were excellent; we didn't use the kitchen facilities. Liked having DVD and Internet access. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly--nice to be greeted warmly after traveling 12+ hours from Cincinnati.
alla recensioner » We were in room 401 and it was the quietest room I've ever rented and LOVED it. The beds and pillows were so comfy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen saved us alot of money. Thank you. Great room, loved the full kitchen at the price. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. Will definitly stay again and have already booked rooms for May and June. The staff were a delight and the room was quite neat and comfortable.The location was good as well, not too far from downtown, yet not in the busy downtown area. Nice big rooms, clean and comfortable, including kitchenette. Decent price considering the high prices in Anchorage in the summer. Convenient in midtown. Good Clean and comfortable suites. Very inexperienced staff at the front desk - I think this hotel is fairly new, but it seemed that the desk staff had never worked in a hotel. No airport shuttle - most of the other midtown hotels have them. No pool. But then again, it is Alaska, so not really that much of a negative. Room darkening shades could have been designed to point away from the beds, but still works fine. It is quite noisy at night for someone who is used to the complete quiet of a small town. Staff knew very little about anything and were less than willing to assist eg location and costs of public transport, location of shops in the area etc Too far from anything a tourist needs and limited public transport. This is not a dislike but a suggestion. A bedside lamp on bothsides of the bed would be appreciated instead of just one. No paper towels. Would like to have staff on at night. front lobby not great...had to open seperate doors before getting to the desk, no one present, had to ring desk bell, stated departing party blocking main entrance so no one was able to park or enter until that party departed, flat affect of young man at desk. over charged from the original quote and no attempt to correct it we had to pay up, lucky that we did not stay here any length of time. unprofessional management. The bedding was full of static electricity. Really bad! Had to take the bedding apart to be able to sleep comfortably. no grocery store nearby not many restaurants nearby bathroom door distance from town centre. Staff was not very friendly and change my price from my letsbookhotel.com, so I had to argue with the reception. They change my room to handicap room without my agreement and hard to change back to regular room. room not well designed. good job we only stayed for a single night as no cleaning or fresh towels for a week! Should be stated clearly at the time of booking. no linnen/cleaning serv.
