It is very close to the airport (about 1mi) although driving from the
airport is about 2.5 miles. It is a quiet Old town location, but located
on the I-5, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure you get ear
plugs or make sure you get a front side room. We were there only for 2

It was easy to stay there. Staff was friendly, parked our car very close to our room, likedvthe mini fridge, microwave and the breakfast included, it was more than I thought it would be (breakfast) and it was very convenient so that you got that out of the way and could start your day. The rooms were great: nicely decorated, clean, nice view. The size of the room was perfect for me; but I only stayed for 2 days. The style of hotel and room suited our taste and what you would expect
from a European style boutique hotel. Great Cafe downstairs! Great View
of downtown and a feeling like you are downtown, but not in the thick of
it. Relatively quiet and easy access to all parts of San Diego. The
staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will make this our home
away from home whenever we travel to San Diego.

Best value!!!! I loved having the restaurant on the same floor as our
room. We visited happy hour and drank their signature cocktails for only
$5 each! And not to mention wine Wednesday - half off bottles!!! So
happy! We also loved walking to little Italy for dinner. We had a
delicious dinner. Our cab ride to gaslamp was only $13 with tip. Perfect

I liked the fact that it had a balcony, the bathrooms were a good size, the tv was a nice flat screen, the AC was amazing, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the restaurant/bar was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly, and the location of the hotel itself is in a great spot.
