Just 15 minutes’ drive from the Roman city of Bath and Longleat Safari Park, this quirky family owned country house sits within stunning grounds in beautiful rural Somerset. WiFi is available free of charge throughout the property. The House boasts unique décor inspired by one of the owners who lived and travelled around Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. The individually styled guest rooms all feature a large flat-screen TV and a mini bar. All rooms are en suite and have countryside views. A tea and coffee station is situated on each floor. The bar is in the conservatory and guests may enjoy the most unusual variety of drinks on the terrace overlooking the stunning grounds. Breakfast is a very relaxed affair and on fine days this is also served on the terrace and even in the garden. The House is about 10 minutes' drive from Frome, Trowbridge, Westbury, and Warminster. Salisbury, Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury are located around 40 minutes’ drive. The bus to Bath and Frome stops outside The House.

The owner was absolutely delightful with incredible high standards which will become apparent during your stay. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the food was to die for! A wonderful location close to Bath city center and yet surrounded by picturesque countryside. We are really looking forward to re-visiting this hotel and would recommend it to anybody!. We could not possibly have had a more wonderful time. The room was luxurious, the views glorious, the breakfast was easily the best hotel breakfast we have ever had, and most importantly the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. We will definitely be back, and I have recommended it to all our friends.
alla recensioner » Everything! The warm welcome from Rowena and Simon kicked off a wonderful weekend. The room itself was good, warm, and comfortable. The dim sum tasty, and a good selection of drinks at the bar. Would definitely recommend this to others. It was a beautiful, small hotel in lovely surroundings just outside Bath. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. We would definately go back and thoroughly recommend it.Everything!, i loved that it wasnt the usual frumpy twee look you get in th UK and had a real sophisticated Asian feel to it, the breakfast was excellent with fresh quality food and coffee. Fabulous hotel with it's own unique character. Owners made you feel like you were invited into their home. Truly great fun. Loved every minute.The relaxed easy going approach. The house is near the main road so a warm night with windows open may be a problem to light sleepers. The only small grumble I had was that there were coffee/tea making facilities at the end of the landing but not in our room.Would like to see WiFi available in the rooms, so I can get work out the way and then socialise downstairs. People should be aware that dinner is very restricted. If you don't like Dim Sum you will need to travel. I understand this will be rectified very shortly though so worth a call.The menu for the dinner was too restricting and if you didnt like oriental/spicy food there were no alternatives ,so had to find somewhere else to eat. All the wooden floors made it quite noisy and the cleaner didn't makeany consideration to guest who were staying as she banged doors andtalked very loudly early in the mornings!!!. The wooden floors were really rustic however it was quite noisy at times when people came into their rooms late at night. This hotel was still being done up. Some places were a little unfinished.very limited menu. There is no sound proofing which meant we could hear othere people at night in their room coughing etc. Our bathroom just didnt seem to fit in with the style of the room,would have been nice if the room decor flowed through to the onsuite but from what i gather the owners are still doing this fab hotel up :-). The lock on my door was a little flimsy and the room was a little coolat night. It was perhaps a little expensive for whilst comfortable thereare no additional facilities. Evening meal wasn't the best and there was little choice, although I think the chef was at the Bath food show so it was a bit make shift.
