Whitby Abbey och hamnen ligger bara 10 minuters promenad från hotellet. Till Captain Cook Memorial Museum är det bara 6,5 km. Pannett Park Art Gallery & Whitby Museum kan båda nås på 5 minuter till fots.

The rooms were very spacious and well decked out , very clean , lovely large four poster bed , spacious bathroom , hot running water and the room was lovely and warm , which was needed due to the freezing temp outside , also the hallway was warm , there was free parking and we had a nice meal , the staff were very friendly and efficient . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bagdale Hall (we were not in the annex). The staff were friendly and helpful, hot breakfast individually prepared and dinner excellent. The room had everything we needed including great shower!.
Excellent location and parking a big bonus. Good breakfast and great service. Lovely clean towels, bathroom & bedding. Very comfortable four poster bed. Fantastic power shower :0).

We had to walk out of our building to get to reception and dining room , but not much of a problem.
Only one thing I could think of is fresh fruit at breakfast would make it even better.
Room a little 'tired', decor & carpet would benefit from an upgrade. Furniture drawers etc. rickety. Very creaky floorboards which may have annoyed whoever was staying beneath us! Room could do with 'freshening up'.
We honestly can't think of anything negative to say.
