The Revere Hotel was extremely comfortable and homely. The whole place just felt so relaxing, from the Lobby through to the open fire bar area and a very nice dining room all with "quirky" little areas. The room was a good size (we had the top floor with 4 poster) and very clean with everything that we needed. Parking was easy with a car park 1min walk away. The staff, manager and we also met the proprietor were so nice and very helpful, they couldn't do enough for us! they were brilliant. We w.
alla recensioner » I always like to stay at the Revere although some signs of wear were noticeable this time not that it bothered me but might do some people, its location is great, near to the beach and for shopping. The staff are excellent always friendly and welcoming, a great atmosphere and everytime I visit Jersey the Revere will get my booking . Very friendly staff, especially on reception and porters. Old world charm in all the main areas and rooms. Very welcoming ambience. Was given a family suite when I'd booked a double with single use so had lots of space. Very charming hotel, with authentic interieur. Special thanks to the lovely Tanios aka "Tony the bartender" ! When we come back to Jersey I hope there's a room for us available and a place in the couch at the open fire!. I really enjoy seeing the owner and staff at the Hotel as they are so welcoming and friendly and they keep a very good bar with lovely wines and the dining rooms are very good with excellent cuisine . Third time visit will be coming again as very friendly, helpful, very clean lovely rooms brilliant food. All the staff were really great, even the cleaners were very polite thanks for a great stay. Bed was a bit solid and the decoration of some areas seems a little tired and rather dated, but still well maintained and smart. Food was good, rather than outstanding. The 1st room I had was so hot I asked to move the following morning and they did this without any problem got a lovely room with more windows. I didn't like that it was too hot and there was too much noise coming from a kitchen but I would stay there again anyway :). The olde worlde squeeky floorboard style isnt the style I would usually choose but I felt so comfortable there that I would definately stay there again. the shower system was not very easy to use ! very hot water going through unexspectedly:. A little worn. It was a shame the hotel restaurant was closed on the Tuesday night I was there, but there are a number of restaurants close by so not a big problem. The other was that breakfast started being served at 7.30am in the restaurant. Realised after you could order continental to your room from 4.30am. I had a meeting at 8 so could not stay to relax and enjoy. 7am breakfast start would of been perfect... But the staff were very kind and got me a croissant before I set off. The strange numbering of the rooms , not in sequence this should be corrected for newcomers to find their way around . I booked through the agency and didn't realise I had to pay the Hotel on the day of departure . I did not have my Mastercard on me ,only the Visa , the large amount being declined. Luckily for me my Son used his Mastercard, this arrangement could with the Agency is not very efficient. room far to hot and pillows old and lumpy. a little old and worn in places but comfortable. nothing in particular. The impressione is all the whole very good. Just a minor remark on the soundproofing of the room's door that could be for sure enhanced. a bit warm in room left window open but could hear traffic. Returning customer so liked everything. No lift, but plenty of help with luggage. Lots of stairs. Hotel a bit tired. No lift. Xxx. The room we had (room 9) was very hot even with the window open and no fan supplied. The bar played some music some evenings which was - rather than easy listening, it was quite depressing!. The room was small there was no fridge,or safe very noisy outside and no aircon. Cooked breakfast wasn't very good. Bit run down. There was quite alot of noise from the road outside early hours of the morning and from the room next door between 11 and 12.30. Seemed to be up a side street, rooms tired and dated and in one case, small. room hot and stuffy.
