Converted from an old vicarage, this hotel stands in its own grounds overlooking the beach and town of Newquay. Guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna and a solarium. Priory Lodge Hotel has been family-run since 1979, and is 2 minutes’ walk from the town centre. The sandy beaches are around 5 minutes’ walk away. The rooms are spacious, and all have a TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. Guests can make use of free Wi-Fi in public areas, and there is space for free parking on site. The Olde Worlde bar offers a range of beers, wines and spirits. There is also a restaurant with views of the coastline, and all dietary needs can be catered for.

The hotel style was old, but in a good way. Medieval building with modern décor. Rooms were quite basic modern, but cosey. The breakfast area was beautiful with very modern and clean décor. View from there was fantastic. The lady on the desk was really lovely and friendly. The location was perfect for where we wanted to go. Would definitely go there again. Warm welcome,Plenty of parking very easy to find.It is only 5 minute walk into the middle of holiday part of town and easy walking distance for beach.Good views out to sea from resturant back of hotel.decent size warm clean pool kids loved it .Good breakfast all staff warm and friendly.Excellent value for money.

Really welcoming and ate friendly your while visit, breakfast is brilliant with the constant top ups of coffee and toasts etc. Hotel it self is very big and bit dated but still a lovely place. Defo wouldnt look to stay anywhere else and only a few mins from the town!. the staff were very friendly and helpfull nothing was to much trouble for them including telling us places that may be of interest for us to visit,breakfast was very good ample enough to last untill dinner at night,the view from our room overlooked the sea. Attentive happy well organised staff. Great sea and town views from own balcony. Heated pool open. Easy parking - a rarity in the area. Nice room with spotless linen and towels. Early check in a big help. Arrived 1230 and room ready. (tv, talking, showering, toilet, cleaning teeth), once family left, it was lovely and quiet. Would recommend but check who's next door!. Few damp patches on walls but this is a very minor point. TV was on the small side but then again did not go to watch tv!. The TV was adequate, but probably on its last legs. This is a minor gripe, because overall we were extremely satisfied. Newquay was not as expected as it was a hen/stag popular destination, but was still a handy base for seeing the rest of Cornwall. Fixed-height shower was too low. Not the most recent decoration (but not shabby either). Nothing. The shower tap is troublesome even a bit dangerous. Room overdue for update, but not an issue that impacted on our stay - see comments above. The premises were a little tired. nothing. Tired decor. out door pool we could not use it because of the weather I know to have indoor pool it cost, but you know english weather it's always sunny. The oduor of chemicals used for cleaning was very strong.
