Bedlam House offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, private shower rooms and tea/coffee facilities. The guest house is within easy walking distance of central Newquay, the train station and beaches. Free surfboard, bodyboard and wetsuit hire is available. Free private parking is also possible.
A full cooked breakfast is provided, using local produce whenever possible. Vegetarian options are also available on request. Freshly ground coffee beans are used and a selection of teas are available. The spacious lounge has an open fireplace and cosy seating area.
The Eden Project can be reached after 40 minutes' drive and Land's End is 1 hour 20 minutes' drive away. Many restaurants and bars are close by and the guest house are happy to make reservations.

This was booked at the last minute and after a long trip i was given a very welcoming reception when i arrived. The room/house was lovely,comfortable and very clean and the extra bits provided in the room were also

We received a friendly welcome, the decor and art work were unusual and immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We discovered a beach called Lusty Glaze which was within easy walking distance of Bedlam House which was absolutely fantastic. The train journey from Exeter to Newquay was very scenic and really added to the whole experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts Carol and Mark made us feel very welcome and at home. A big thank you to Carol for her great breakfast! Bedlam House is modern, fresh and comfortable. We would certainly recommend it, particularily as a base to explore the coastal areas of Cornwall. Thanks again Carol and Mark you have made our holiday a memorable one.
From the moment we were greeted by Mark until the moment we left, everything was perfect! Great host!! Full of local information about where to eat, what to see, etc. the rooms were fabulous - large and roomy, interesting, quirky decor, beds and pillows were so comfortable and breakfast was great! Thank you so much Mark and Carole!.
We had a fantastic stay, the hosts are very friendly and welcoming and
will go the extra mile to help. Great location, just down the road from
the beach, and a short walk into town. Nicely designed house, with great
facilities, and a yummy cooked breakfast with homemade bread! Would
definately recommend to all :).
I am Vegan and the owners had got vegan sausages soya milk and dairy free margerine for my breakfast which was brilliant as anywhere else you just have cope because most people can't be bothered also the place was clean and very comfortable with very friendly staff would deffinatly recommend to others .
Friendly and welcoming owners, idiosyncratic décor , free adequate off road parking ,good breakfast (both quality and choice) and complementary rum/vodka.
Room was a tad small but perfectly adequate ,very clean and with comfortable beds. Would certainly recommend it.
Fantastic hotel with a unique character, lovely designed, and centrally
located. The hotel owners were very kind and made our stay very
pleasant. Nothing was missing. The breakfast was the icing on the cake.

We found that they were very welcoming and helpful. Choice of breakfast was very good. The Breakfast was very tasty and plenty. Bedroom was comfortable and clean. All in all a good place to stay. We will return.
A lovely quiet location but still very close to all the attractions and beaches. Felt very welcome and a homely atmosphere. Good choice of breakfast and very well cooked. Could not fault, returning shortly.
A lot of thought had gone into the design and the ambience was lovely. Close to beach and comfy bed + the breakfast was great and set us up for the whole day. Definitely where we will stay on our return!.
Bedlam house was a great place to stay,hospitality was first class,breakfasts were beautiful and they catered for personal likes and dislikes,overall we had a relaxing time would definitely go again.
Everything was great! Enough room for parking, bedroom had enough room lovely bathroom and very very comfy bed! Nice and quiet but owners really made you feel welcome! :) 5* from me!.
The owners are very friendly, the rooms are extremely comfortable. It is like being a personal guest staying with friends and I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Its not really anything to dislike just maybe needed to be signed a bit better we drove past it twice thats all though but nothing can be faulted with the stay!.
The vegetarian sausage at breakfast was rather bland.
The motion activated lights/extractor fan in the bathroom, turns off too soon.
Could've done with a sheet on the bed rather than just having a duvet, due to the heat. (This is rare for the UK though and would usually only be necessary for about 5 days in a year!).
