Very helpful staff - we arrived early and we could leave our suitcases in the reception office, even though it left almost no room for the staff! We had a shared bathroom which was spotless and efficient. There were supposed to be tea and coffee facilities in the room, but instead, we were free to use the kitchen where everything was laid out to help yourself, even milk from the fridge. Nothing was locked up down there, so there was a very pleasant sense of safety and trust. The breakfast said . alla recensioner »
Staff very friendly and helpful, only problem was we were on the 3rd floor and as we are very senior, me 76 and Brian 82 found the steps difficult. We enjoyed our breakfast as we had just crashed out the night before as we had flown in direct from Australia. Suggest you make a space on your booking forms re allocation of rooms for elderly.
The ensuite was fine and we would stay there again, BUT on a lower floor.
- Very nice and new bathroom. Enough space in the bathroom. Showercabin
closes very well (no water spill) and there is enough warm water.
- very kind and friendly receptionists. Open 24 hours.
- close to the Kings Cross station
- waterboiler with tea/coffee in the room.
Good location, and value for money, two adults stay one night only cost 46 pounds as i booked through www.letsbookhotel.com
I will recommend this hotel as it was very close to London kings cross train/under ground station, and the staffs was friendly as well !.
Family run hotel. Staff very helpful. 24 hour access useful.
Room very comfortable.
I would recommend that the fried breakfast could be larger although this may be down to me as there was a good selection of cereals which I personaly do not eat.
The location was great- it was very close to The station and easy to get wherever we needed to go! The staff was also very helpful and accommodating.
Staff were friendly and the cooked breakfast was an unexpected suprise. Good value and very close to Kings Cross Station. Free wifi.
Close to St Pancras station. Eggs toast and beans for breakfast was very good. Room was very clean and tidy. would use again.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! Location excellent for exploring London.
staff were really lovely helpful, room was clean, so close to kings cross underground, free wifi.
Really friendly and helpful staff, great value even for a last minute booking.
Clean basic tidy room with ensuite. Very friendly staff. Excellent location.
The friendly treatment by the staff
The feeling that it was nice and clean.
Everything was as expected. Condition and decor reflects the price paid.
Staff were friendly and helpfull. Rooms were clean. Its central location. near the train station, convient to go anywhere you want to go.
Late check was given. Staff friendly and helpful.
Close proximity to kings cross for eurostar.
Close to St Pancras.
Friendly staff.
location.
La posizione innanzitutto. Stanze pulite. Il resto nella suffienza.
The position is excellent, the hotel is not bad but enough for those who don't have many claims.
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for Kings Cross station ( a 2 minute walk). The breakfast although basic was good.
Very helpful staff as I had a bad back and they carried my bag to the third floor as there is no lift.
it was very quiet which was lovely as when you come back late you just can sleep without interruption.
-Low price with brilliant location. -Staff is really friendly.
The location was Excellent and there was wi-fi included.
The room was nice and home like very clean. And comfy.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Both the person at the front desk.
Central location.
The staff was usually friendly and nice and felt honest. No thief's. Strange that I have to pay in cash for the stay. They could do card but didnt want to. Order from the boss. The girl who fixed the breakfast was nice.
The only two saving graces was great water pressure in the shower and it
was straight across the road from St Pancras where I needed to depart
from the next day.
The location is good, which is near King's Cross Station about 5 minute walk. The staff are mostly friendly.
Stuff. Thanks for guys from reception who tried to improve our terible opinion abiut this hotel.
The staff is nice though.Very close to St.Pancras for train to France.
Location is faultless and check in/out was quick and simple.
Location really central to King's Cross Station.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The room was OK and the location.
Very charming staff.
the staff were great.
Handy for station.

Locstion.
There was nothing to like about this hole in the wall. Terrible. I'd rather have slept in the train station.
The one pillow per bed was very thin. There was not fresh fruit for breakfast as advertised, as far as we saw.
- The carpet wasn't clean, could use some vacuming. The rest of the
room/floor appeared clean.
- when the firealarm went off, the personel didn't know what to do.
- when we arrived the receptionist offered a cup of coffee, but the canteenlady told us that breakfast time was over. When we said we only wanted a cup of coffee we were ignored. First day we didn;t have towels untill later in the evening, after dinner.
Any one who has trouble with stairs must make sure they are on the ground or first floor. My room was at the top and there were 50 steps up and no lift. From the structure of the house, putting a lift in would be almost impossible. Staff did offer to help with luggage but I have no problems with stairs.. Some soap in my bedroom would be useful.
The only bad thing was the shared bathroom but we never had trouble using it when we needed it!.
Room was cramped two doubles in a room designed for one and the fridge had mould. Room was clean but basic. No in room kettle having to make do with shared kitchen. No on suite.
Rooms are small and basic.
no lift.
Price :(.
Too low temperature.
Nothing in particular.
Room on third floor.Lots of steep stairs and no lift. bad smell, cannot open the window, too small room, dirty!!!!!!!!!!.
Overall the room was clean but found litter and wtappers under the beds
while looking for a lost card. If I hadn't droppef my bank cstd I
woukd have thouht god clean room.
Breakfast was okay but could be improved.
size too small.
Terzo piano senza ascensore e no collegamento internet nella stanza.
Third floor without elevator and no internet link in my room.
The room was tiny - nothing like the pictures on the internet. We had a double bed that took up all bar a tiny portion of the room. There wasn't even space for our bag. This was a shame and unfortunately means we wont be staying again as the price was far too much for a room I would expect in a hostel.
The hotel was narrow and a bit pokey and I was quite scared as from midnight to about 2 there were people coming and going on the top floor andat one point someone knocked on my door. Being a single female travelling on business and trying to avoid the expensive hotels in London, I would not recommend this for ladies ontheir own!.
the room smelled of cigarettes when we came in first which was a big big minus.
-Not that clean. -Heater doesn't work. -Simple breakfast.
The room was not great, even for the price. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door. It took us two days to secure two towels! The staff were friendly but not very effective. When we returned to the hotel at midday, after checking out, to pick up our bags, there was no one there and no one answered the phone. No great disasters but we would never stay there again.
Asked to leave key with reception while went out and not given proper reason as to why, very strange. Felt bit odd.
The bed was not comfortable, and the bathroom sink was very small. I also did not like that I couldn't control the temperature in the room.
steep stairs.
Roomsize. Unable to open luggage unless put on bed. Bathroom door at foot of bed. Only one person at a time able to move in room.
When you advertise wi-if make sure Otis available in all rooms.
It's good in general, BUT they charged the payment directly from my credict card without ask my permittion!!!! this makes me very unhappy and uncomforatble. Thus I will not stay here again or recommend it to others.
The room was extremely small. No closets or no space whatsoever to put your things. One broken hanger was all there was, in a room for three persons. Its noway even near 3 stars. One at the best. I stayed in many hotels in my time but this was the worst so far.
My room was in the basement and I looked out onto a cemented area that
was used to house left over timber and garbage. The free wifi only
worked if I walked up a flight of stairs to reception, though the
receptionist did inform me I could use the dining room also in the
basement for better wifi coverage. I guess if you pay 99 pound thats
what you get in London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
My single room is on the basement. The WIFI cannot be accepted at all unless I go upstairs. The shower room is small and no shampoo and shower gel available.
Uncomfortable
Dirty
Common shower and wc for all guests of the hotel on.
Absence hairdryir
Absence of adaptor EUR/UK pluggince (electric prise).
This is a hurriedly renovated poorly executed mini hotel. The bed was
extremely soft, the room somewhat dirty and walls very thin.At 99£ per
night it's a joke.
Room was stifling hot, woke several times during night, mentioned this
on checkout and was met with a very neutral gaze. Room was in the
basement, no air con and window only opened a couple of inches.
Also no shower gel/shampoo available.
Room, bathroom, cleanliness. Shower room was mouldy all over, broken toilet seat, dirty toilet, black 'grime' in the sink.
Very basic facility.
the shower only had hot water, we couldn't had a good shower because it burned us. The Breakfast was very poor and served from 8 am to 10 am (?), they made you 1 egg, 2 toasts (2 more if you ask for them), and 1 spoon of beans... and finally we asked them if we could leave our bags until the late afternoon and they said no!, they agreed just until 13 hrs. It has not elevator and the bathroom hadn't toilette paper and no one to ask for it the next morning....
The WiFi not working everywhere in the room, but only close to the door (and therefore, the reception).
The cleaning wasn't done when I arrived. There was (and still is, probably) a lot of dust on the ground and on the carpet in the bathroom.
The temperature of the radiator wasn't that high so it was freezing during the mornings.
The water temperature in the shower wasn't so high either. I don't know why but except for the first day, it was rather cold.
the bed was very uncomfortable the bed linen was too small for the bed and in poor condition.the girl who was to make breakfast was late and as i needed to catch an early train this was very inconvienent.
No facilities in room. Bed extremely uncomfortable with old, cheap duvet cover. Bathroom cramped, with minuscule wash basin. Old, small towels not changed for second day.
"Continental" breakfast consisted of one broken fried egg and dessert spoonful of beans! Decor dated. Expected much better for the price.
price was TOO MUCH for what you got, room was small, full size bed with 6" on either side of bed. bathroom very tiny. my husband had to stand sideways to use shower. sink was about 6" diameter and way too low. no washcloths had to ask for coffee ,creamer & towels. access to our room was down a flight of very narrow stairs. had to turn suitcases sideways to come up & down. NO HEAT, no circulation. We travel extensively WORST WE EVER STAYED IN. You can do MUCH BETTER for the price.
everything else : comfort, dirtiness, price 120€ by night,
weird breakfast room.
Tiny room and unsuitable and dirty bathroom.
The comfort was very poor and cleaningness, room was very small and we paid for a big room, not pleased at all.
The door handle was loose. The walls were covered in scuff marks. Nails sticking out of the walls. The radiator control was too dirty to touch. There was no wardrobe or drawers (honestly). Hangers on the back of the door were broken. The showerhead holder was broken. The mat in the shower room was not absorbent so the linoleum in the bedroom became slippy after a shower. The staff member on duty when we were checking out didn't lift his head to look at or speak to us. Rubbish.
