If carlsberg made landladies then Rachael would probably be the best in the world....my stay was made by her and her sons welcome...it felt like a 2nd home...nothing was too much trouble and i was treated like a special friend. to be honest i have travelled world wide 5* etc but Rachaels hospitality outshines them all....i would recommend this place every day of the week...20 stars :-). Lovely room and warm welcome, and breakfast was great. the room was very nice,so was the breakfast. the spa facillities, king size bed, the owners were lovely people. Owners sister very helpful ,owner away.Very clean. Hard to find, poorly maintained driveway, poor parking.Only one little problem was the parking. Very difficult to turn around once you were parked. the driveway was a bit off putting, also not being able to book in till 4 pm.the drive was just a dirt track, dangerous to walk on especially at night. Access and parking difficult. Using driveway can be awkward. Fresh fruit and yogurt not generallyavailable for breakfast. Small, ensuite room with noisy extractor fan.Decor, navy blue carpets and curtains!. There were no drinking glasses in the room when we arrived and there wasa dead fly on the floor in the bathroom. That fly never moved in the 3nights we were there. Obviously the bathroom floor was not gettingcleaned. I thought there were bathrobes in the rooms, but I never sawany evidence of this, and there was no wardrobe, just a a cupboard.Also, one pane of flass was cracked.
