We received a very friendly welcome, the room was very nice and equipped to the highest B&B standard. There were lots of thoughtful touches, such as a variety of teas in the room, rather than just the standard Tetley or PG - even more on a shelf on the landing! Also two comfy chairs for watching TV. Details of every nearby restaurant and takeaway were in a folder, along with lots of information about things to do locally. The owners are happy for guests to bring takeaways back, as long as t.
alla recensioner » Of all the B&Bs in which we stayed during an extensive tour of Scotland, this was far and away the best. We were given a warm welcome by Janet, who after a 300 mile drive, gave us tea and delicious home-made shortbread in her sunny garden with its beautiful view of the Eildon Hills. Our twin-bedded room was well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was magnificent. At every stage, Janet wanted to do everything possible to make our stay really special and she most certa. Excellent hosts - very friendly and really wanted to help us enjoy our stay in the Borders. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of it and really good quality food. Scenery surrounding the B and B was outstanding - a really beautiful location. Room was small but comfortable, clean and really nice lay out. Janet and Les are a great friendly couple who love sharing their house to provide a great welcoming b&b. They are motorbike friendly, always a bonus for us! The home cooked breakfast was all local produce and tastes great!. Very warm welcome from Janet and Les. Excellent facilities and room.
