The owner was very very helpful getting train timings for my daughter who was travelling from London to join us. He made sure there was a veggie breakfast available. And as we were leaving played a fanfare on the trumpet for my daughter who was graduating that day. Very friendly and extremely accomodating.
Really friendly welcome and efficient check in, nice room and free wifi is great. Breakfast is really nice.
Having been staying in the area for years on business, I can't believe j have only just found this place.

Dudley was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was small but after travelling for 2 weeks throughtout the UK we had learned to manage. We didn't know the area as it was just a stopover on the way to London.
We liked the location, very quiet but not too far from the town centre. We liked the room, nice decor, everything we needed, lots of tea and coffee supplied. Nice breakfast, good food, nicely prepared and quickly.
Fresh, welcoming atmosphere.
Generous sized rooms with tasteful decor.
Helpful information in reception - local taxis, restaurants etc.

Breakfast.
The owner was friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts were really great and the location was good for where we needed to be to see family and friends.
Breakfast good choices and quality.
friendly,excellent breakfast.
Helpfulness of staff.
Only a small thing but I do like tea made in a tea pot at breakfast, a bag in a cup is not the same. A small tea pot for the table would have solved this.
Sink in my room was very small so most of the water ended on the floor when I washed my face.
Mattresses were slightly lumpy but not bad.
Nothing.
nothing.
Small single room.
Not a lot to say except
We thought that the en suite could have had a bath mat and a toilet brush (for obvious reasons).
nothing.
Some inter-room noise, to be expected but wasn't excessive.
The matresses were quiet soft, but that's probably a matter of personal preferences and habits.
The mattress and pillow could use an upgrade. I slept fine due to exhaustion!.
The tiny washbasin took a bit of getting used to but realised that you
simply couldn't fit anything bigger!.
on street parking only though it was directly outside.
It was very, very hot. If you book during the summer months ask for a room that is not on the top floor. The bottom rooms were a lot cooler. The top floor room was like a sauna. Also, there we're five in our party that had a total of three rooms. One of the rooms' (single room) shower and toilet was dirty.
Nothing.
Single room was a little small but OK for one night.
Lack of electric sockets.
Had to park car in the next road as no spaces outside.
Tiny ensuite.
Nothing.
One thing I would have preferred the breakfast to have stayed open a little longer 9 or 9.30 a.m it finished at 8.30 a.m. I arrived late the evening before and it would have been nice to have had a longer rest.
Bathroom small and bed wasn't overly comfortale.
Bathroom was very small.
Some of the en-suite fittings now need replacing.
taking a shower not really easy.
nothing.
Our room was on the top (2nd) floor, accessed via a narrow staircase with a limited hand rail. As we are both in our 60's, this made it quite difficult for us with heavy luggage. If we stay there again we would need a room on the first floor.
Mattress was a little inferior
Room smelt of damp and plaster
Curtains should be blackout to stop light coming in
Towels were too small.
small room.cold in room during night.
Very noisy in room 3, as at top of stairs. Found entire establishment very noisy, as reception very close to rooms.
Bedroom (single) extremely small, could barely turn around in room.
