Great room, clean, warm and comfortable. Great breakfast and a very friendly and helpful host. The location is good - it takes between 20 and 30 minutes to walk into the city and the road which leads you in has plenty of bars, pubs and eateries. The whole Newington area is actually very good and we really enjoyed staying here. The area is also well serviced by buses. A day ticket is 3.50 and very useful. Highly recommend Classic. alla recensioner »
Friendly and homely atmosphere, the hosts were very friendly and nothing was a bother to them. Plenty of information on things to do in area. The breakfast was excellent. Good value for money, would stay here again.
the guess house was clean and homely and the breakfast was excellent, the owner was available to ask questions if required. Overall a lovely guess house.would certainly stay at Classic Guest House again great value.
Really friendly welcome, very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
was given clear directions to where I fancied going.
Loved the decor, cleanliness, breakfast.
Staff very friendly and welcoming..
Ensuite had shower, but no bath.
didn't like the fact that my room wasn't on suite as i expected although we had sole use of a shower room next to our room. The guess house was further away from city centre that we thought although bus service was excellent to city centre .
Nothing.
it was so peaceful to have breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the lovely garden, whilst classical music was played.
Nothing.
I thought that the shower was tiny - very cramped. Also, I don't like Mira showers.
Also two sets of stairs to get up to room. After a long day walking in Edinburgh, this became rather a trek!.
