Very clean & modern (looks very new). Amazing price for a twin bedroom apartment. All the mod cons (cooker, TV in every room & a great bath/shower with plenty of towels.

Appartment was very clean and high standard fittings bedding etc. Perfect location for city centre graduation ceremony which was purpose of our stay. Great alternative to booking 2 rooms in hotel and much more sociable and spacious than hotel alternatives.
The flat is less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chester, a very interesting historical city with lots to see.

The apartment was just like it was on the website photos. It was very clean and comfortable. Tasteful and simple decor. The facilities in the apartment were very good. Excellent shower! A place I would stay at again.

The Staff who booked us in was friendly and professional.
Very clean and comfy. Very friendly and helpful member of staff (Flo), who went out of her way to ensure we was ok - especially when we realised that our room had no kitchen. Would defo come again.
The room was very clean and in a good location near to the train station and some nice places to eat. Overall considering the price too, I was very impressed with the room.
Staff were amazing. Facilities, decor was excellent. I can't really fault anything, great value for money. I would def recommend for any business trips or family to stay.

Having to pay £5 for wifi - come on!! Simply charge £5 extra per room
& offer the service foc (bt WiFI / OpenZone signal strong if you
happen to be a bt customer).
Staff who greeted us on arrival directed us to nearby 24 hour car park where we went and paid and parked and then realised ALL tickets expire at midnight (this was approx. 8pm) so we therefore had to either move the car to another car park or return after midnight to put another ticket on. When we challenged this with staff member she said she 'thought' it was ok for any 24 hour period but couldn't help further.
The top floor flat is too far from the router so internet access is slow.
Although you can park in City Road overnight, you have to move your car by 9 am.
Quiet midweek , but live music below at weekends.
The internal doors were heavy. Difficult for small children to push/pull open. Bedrooms got a little too warm at night. living room a little cool during the evening. Noise from apartment above.
Some noise in late evening but this is to be expected there was families
on same level.
It is not clear enough that there are rooms without kitchen and lounge. I have stayed in Base Apartments in Leeds, Liverpool and now Chester and they have always had a kitchen/lounge. It must be made more clear that the Compact Double Room does not include kitchen/lounge.
It was a very hot day and the room got very hot. There was no air conditioning (not that I was awre of anyway) and the window only opened a few cm. This made it quite uncomfortable!.
Heating- heating rail would stay on all night/day which made the rooms very hot. The rooms do get very very hot at night, could do with some aircon system.
The car park is a bit of a trek so make sure you park outside to unload load your bags.
staff is not present in the structure (if you have a problem you should contact them with a phone number), hair dryer in room not found (yet it was written that was present), they want all the data of your credit card in case of damage (it never happened this is the first time). CHECK-IN only very restrictive from 2pm to 5pm you can not go to Chester zoo before otherwise the return will have to pay £ 20 to check in late. WANT ADVICE EXTENDED HOURS CHECK-IN...
Size of the room. I had a compact room for 11 nigths and this to little for so long stay.
No Internet available, TV needed to be re tuned for digital channels.

Fire doors which were very heavy and loud when they banged shut.
Little bit lacking in cupboards in the kitchen.
Glad I was on the top floor as the bar on the ground floor was loud until late (i.e. early).

There's no lift so quite frustrating when you have a buggy & young child.

Could have done with a non slip bath mat or grab handle it really was very slippery, and you could not have the curtains open in the living area as the hotel opposite and the busses that stopped right outside could see right in!.
Small room - barely enough space for the double bed, and no room for a chair. Some design quirks (eg proximity sensing light switches in the shower room) which may have seemed good ideas at the time but aren't!.
Could do with improved ventilation in hot weather - or a fan.

The bedroom was small and had no window. Heavy Small bedroom with no window. Heavy fire doors to the bedroom and living room. The worst thing was the noise on a Friday and Saturday night from the bar downstairs. Live music to midnight and then loud music to 2.30am. On the Friday a group of our neighbours returned at about 3.00am and played music and talked loudly till 4.45am. With a 13 month old this was something we could have done without.
No free Wifi (but you can access to BT Wifi of other building), Noisy (a bar with live music is next door).
Above cellar bar. Very noisy on Saturday night. Music continued until early Sunday morning. Some of my party had difficulty getting to sleep. There was no warning if this on your website.
Noise from puplic house below, may as well have been sitting in pub when it was open as noise was so loud.
Not in an apartment block but above a pub which was very noisy until 2am with pub music from downstairs and also from surrounding pubs and therefore unable to sleep. No proper wardrobe or chest of drawers to put clothes.
That I had to pay an extra £20 to check in after 5pm. For business reasons for most people this would be totally unacceptable. A very disappointing surprise when booking - althought it did state, it was not clear and easily spotted. If it was not for the text I received - I would not have known and maybe would not have gained entry.
It was a very small room with a double bed. It was not an apartment as advertised, and was very compact. Window was fixed, could not be open to get some fresh year. There were no staff onsite to help or talk too.
