Me , my wife and my 1 year old child stayed in this hotel during this weekend and I must say after reading an above review - I was very reluctant in booking this hotel! But because of the amazing price which was literally a bargain during this festive month! I finally went ahead with a weekend booking! And I must tell you it was the best decision ever! Extremely satisfied with the location just 2 min walking distance from the pleasure beach, south shore and the train station. We recieved a very warm welcome from the owner . He helped us find parking on time and assisted us with our bags.the staff was friendly , efficient and helpful. The rooms were good sized according to the price that we paid.the bathrooms cleaned and tidy with washed mats. The white bed linen was cotton fresh and clean.we had a quite and sound sleep and great early breakfa.
All of it was fantastic. we were welcomed and felt like part of the family from the moment we stepped through the door. we were only there two nights but would have gladly stayed longer, infact the first night we felt so comfortable and happy with our choice we even started to discuss our return in the summer 2014. the owner and his family were extremely friendly and helpful even carrying my pregnant friends bag up to the room. Thank you for a fantastic stay and im sure we will be back to stay .
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. On our arrival we were greeted by the staff who actually waited an extra half an hour past their check in time as our coach was delayed. they carried our bags to our room and where extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay, even making us a drink whilst waiting for the taxi they called us on our departure. The room itself was perfect, the bed was soo comfy and the shower was lovely. Would deffinatley recommend this hotel :).
The owner was really friendly and the beds were really comfortable. The price is excellent, more so as we are a family of 4 and finding decent but cheap accommodation is really hard. You have the option of breakfast but we decided to go to a cafe nearby. Managed to park fairly closely and is a short walk to the front on the south shore. We will definitely return if we decide to make a return to Blackpool in the future.
The service we got was really friendly and welcoming. The room we got
was nice and clean we was provided with all the accessories that we
needed. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends, family and
anyone who reads this comment as the owners their are reliable and
trustworthy. The hotel is really easy to book online. Hopefully I
will be booking again in the school holidays as I had an amazing
experience there.
Me and my Mrs stayed in this hotel and were very happy with what we saw and the way we were treated,The room was excellent and it had everything we needed and its in a good location, we had a very nice welcome.Hotel is very close to Pleasure Beach and macdonalds. We are impressed by the Hospitality of the staff.They were very helpful and friendly.we would love to stay here again.
As always I was treated very well. The hotel is ideally situated for
city centre and and the promonade. And of course there are also some
good shops and cafe's and markets within yards of the hotel. The
hotel is reasonably priced and is ideal, and you will be made very
welcome by Mohammad and his staff. A very quite well ran hotel. Thank

The Manager was helpful in finding me a free parking closer to the hotel. The check in formalities were simple. The beds were comfortable and we had good sleep throughout our stay. Excellant location but still quite at night time. Free Wifi was a bonus. I would recommend Fortuna hotel to anyone looking for an affordable family accommodation in Blackpool.
The showers were very powerful.
After having to cancel the room for one of the nights booked due to illness after check in time, Mr Mohammad was very helpful and was prepared to change the date to the next day with no extra cost.

my stay was simply amazing. they have Free parking space.. free wifi.. the room was so clean. everything in the room was working perfectly..good breakfast.. good size bathroom.. service was really good and the staff was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend to everyone going to Blackpool.
The staff @ Fortuna House were extremely friendly and very welcoming. They were great with the kids and went out of there way to make sure you had a pleasant stay.
Would recommend them and will be staying there next time i visit Blackpool!!!.
The Location, Customer Service & hotel were excellent. Close to Pleasure Beach. Room was clean with speedy WIFI. Nice Breakfast. Excellent value for money. Would definitely come back & stay again without a doubt.

Great welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable beds in a quiet street on the South Shore. As some one who does not like a full English it was nice not having to pay for one. Places nearby to eat if this is what you want.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. If your off to Blackpool for the weekend then this place is ideal. Near to where it all happens, cheap and an easy place to drop your bags and stay for the weekend.
The staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. They even gave me a card and birthday cake and they all sang to me. I thought this was a lovely gesture.
I thought that the Fortuna Hotel was very good value
The rooms are small but very clean . And the staff were very helpful all in all a nice quite little Hotel where i would stay again.

Very noisy neighbours. Woke me up at about 7 am (I was planning to sleep till 9 pm) and didn't let me to sleep till 12 pm.
The information about the Wi-Fi wasn't accurate as it says you can get wifi in hotel but we had to go down into the bar to get it and it was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.
Decor a bit old fashioned, only 2 Plug sockets for mobiles, kettle, hair dryer, straightners etc....
Shower was boiling hot no matter what temperature was set.
