Small establishment so the personal touch made a difference. Travelling into the city centre was very quick and easy so our initial concerns about being to far out of the city were not necessary. Cakes on arrival were lovely. Rooms were very comfortable and having both rooms and a living area with sky tv and a fridge meant we were able to take our time getting ready for our evening and it made it feel more like being in an apartment and not a B&B. lovely welcome from Simon and Angus the dog, room was fantastic as was the bathroom having the choice of bath or shower was fantastic, Susans BL cakes were devine so much so we brought some extras to bring home. Breakfast was amazingly good. couldnt have asked for nicer hosts nothing was too much trouble, many thanks for the lift to liverpool docks, a real home from home. Will definately return again, Many thanks Julie and Ryan.
Every aspect of 2 the Rocklands was fabulous. Simon & Sue catered to our every need - nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was of a very high quality with lots of lovely touches. Fresh milk, gorgeous treats, luxury biscuits, coffee tea etc. Near to everything on The Wirral & also Liverpool & excellent bus links a few minutes walk away. We'll certainly be returning!.
Absolutely fabulous modern clean & welcoming . You really are a guest that is made to feel at home in this modern immaculate house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & whilst a compromise to be outside of Liverpool it is easily reachable & well worth the extra little bit of effort for such a find. I say this as a blue who stayed in a reds house!! I'm sure we will return.
The facilities and hospitality were just like staying in a 4 star hotel but with the friendliness of one to one interaction with the owners Simon & Sue they were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay and would defiantly return if we are in the area in the future.
We stayed there on our way to Ireland as it is only a 10 min drive to the terminal which makes it very handy. It appears to be a private house and you could easily think are in the wrong location but don't be fooled you are in the right place it is very nice, very clean and very good.

Simon was extremely helpful, even to the point of coming to collect us from the local restuarant in case the walk home was too long! Very much looking forward to a next vist later in the year, and to staying longer.
Excellent hosts who went out of their way to provide information and
personal service if required. A friendly and welcoming place to enjoy a
break from the rat race. Excellent breakfast and little goodies.
What a wonderful stay we had. We were made to feel so special and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and comfortable. Delicious food. Better than staying in town centre. Transport to town easy.
Staff are so friendly, Simon couldnt do more to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. Best b&b we have ever stayed in by a long way and will be back. Rooms and bathroom are just perfect.

I couldn't remember if I had booked an on suite or not but normally I would have only book an on suite. So I was disappointed with the separate bathroom, but as it was only 1 night I didn't query it.
