Super quiet location. What a wonderful new facility. The building and accommodation are simply contemporary luxury. Exquisite furnishings and completely refurbished tiles, flooring, door and windows. Large private accommodation decorated to a standard that exceeds 4 star hotels. A wonderful secluded indoor pool. Every item you may need provided as standard in rooms i.e. toothbrush and paste, fresh milk and bottled water in mini fridge. A sumptuous breakfast with an amazing choice from the men.
alla recensioner » We loved staying in Merton Grounds. The room was very spacious and very very clean. What impressed us the most, is that everything was so well though of - from the selection of teas and coffees in the room, to fresh milk, cookies and great toiletries. The bed was so comfortable, with amazing duvet and pillows. Beautiful place, comparable to any 5* hotel and extremely cozy. We were absolutely delighted about simply everything and look forward to returning. The owner has great taste and her attention to detail and quality has created an idyllic 'home from home' set in beautiful rural surroundings. Superb breakfast! Tempted to keep it all a secret but it just wouldn't be fair. attention to detail was excellent. Ellie was extremely helpful and welcoming. The room we stayed in, the allotment, was beautiful. the breakfast, the signature, was yummy. i would recommend it to anyone.. Newly built building's within and around the existing farm stables to a very high standard. quite location,friendly staff. Close to shopping village and lovely pubs with lovely food. Can fault it. Tucked away in the country side but only 10mins from the M40 for North and South easy access. Breakfast excellent. Pool perfect for swim whilst breakfast cooking. . This place is idillic, the accommodation is top class & the hospitality from the owners was excellent - unfortunately we only had a one night stay but intend to come back. Fabulous bed and linens. Very kind proprietor who made me breakfast to take with me as I had to leave very early! Will definitely return if working in the area again. Spotless, well designed room with thoughtful details. Difficulty finding casual, evening dining on a Saturday. Not a fault of the venue though! Would advise research & booking in advance. Small incident with feather pillows to which I'm alergiic. We liked everything - the only thing we will say is the long driveway into the property is a country lane not a main road so expect pot holes if you drive slow its not a problem & the reward at the end of the drive more than compensates, it really is a wonderful place. Nothing to dislike at all. Internet slightly slow as you might expect in such a beautiful location in the country but it was still an acceptable speed. Absolutely nothing. The pot holes on the long drive in from mane road. You need to be prepared for a long rather rough driveway. none~.
