Situated in the village of Aviemore on the northern tip of the Cairngorms National Park, The Steading Apartment is a luxury accommodation in the heart of the whiskey trail in the Spey Valley. It offers guests free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking.
The apartment itself features a private entrance and under-floor heating, as well as French doors, which lead onto the garden and patio areas. The dining room and lounge are open plan and feature 2 sofas, a table and chairs and a TV.
Guests will also be treated to The Steading’s modern kitchen, featuring a double oven/hob and a dishwasher. It is also stocked with washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The apartment includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate cloakroom.
In a quiet residential area the apartment offers guests the chance to relax and appreciate the areas diverse wildlife on the doorstep. Also guests can watch Ospreys fishing on Loch Garten, less than 12 miles away and Carrbridge Rail Station is the same distance away.

We've had a fantastic time.
We organised Tesco to deliver our shopping on the first night and stayed in and cooked most nights after long days skiing on Cairngorm. (Which is an easy 15 min drive away). The apartment was warm and cosy but very spacious. The 2 main bedrooms have large wardrobes for all your things and one has an ensure too. The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds in it. Comfortably sleeps 6 + a baby.

I also had a young child and unable to comment on the question regarding staff. This was due to the fact booked on-line. Arrival and Departure was self administered via key-code to property so no requirement for staff. Loved the property, it's location and ease of booking and arrival and departure procedure - seamless. Looking forward to return stay.
Fantastic accommodation, absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Everything you could possibly need was either available in the appartment or was two minutes away in the car. Ideal location, beautifully decorated inside, clean and very spacious.
Gorgeous, spacious modern apartment. We stayed with our 4 children. 2 teenagers and 2 young children, one of which has additional needs. This ground floor apartment suited us all and made our stay comfortable and hassle free.
As an architectural draughtsman I was impressed with both the internal and external aesthetics of the whole apartment block. The apartment we stayed in is well built, equipped and tastefully furnished.

The design and modern feel to the apartment. Spacious, and use of a washing machine and somewhere to hang clothes after mountain biking all day. Very nice and comfortable. Felt at home in the apartment.

Dont like the fact that we dont own our own steadings apartment, we could live there on a permanent, especially in its stunning surroundings.
We couldn't figure out how to lock the front door from the inside, we didnt lose any sleep over it and didnt spend long trying to lock it but I suspect it might be faulty & need some adjustment.
No mobile reception in the apartment or a DVD player.
Lacking a few basics - kitchen bits and pieces, towel rails, hooks for coats etc. very minor points and constructive feedback only - did nothing to affect the super impression and experience we had.
There was no coffee maker and curtains would be good as sunlight came in the room from early morning.
Nothing to dislike, to put anything here would be nit picking, great apartment and would highly recommend. A nice touch would have been to have a pint of milk left for a cup of tea on arrival, but shops nearby, so not a great issue, we all had a great stay.

Wifi was not working at the first days.
No area to put your toiletries in the en suite bathroom. Nowhere to hang anything except in the wardrobe. Needs hooks behind doors etc. needs a paper bin in bedrooms/bathrooms, and only three small pans for cooking. Needs a larger one for making a big meal for four people. No salad bowl or similar.
The tv broke. Tried to phone but no response. Still waiting. Got home
and accused of having a pet with us which we absolutely did not, and
for breaking a handle. They charged my account £153 for extra
cleaning because of the dog we didn't have and the handle we
didn't break. Absolutely disgusted. No after care whatsoever.
Birthday treat ruined.
