  Excellent staff ( Yildirim and Ofuk). The staff was supper nice. The owner, Aziz, was helpful and tried to help ASAP. Very close to Galata Tower and Galata bridge and to the Bosphoros.   The building has 3 stories and houses 2 studios per floor. The studios are well equipped for groups, families and couples who don't mind a home away from home on vacation and do not demand a traditional hotel with all its services attached. It was quiet for normal sleepers, fussy sleepers who like open windows at night should take earplugs, since ... vad folk säger » the 5 o'clock prayer could be heard (a fussy sleeper mentioned this to me) The staff was the most helpful I have ever seen - we parted as friends. The - Loved the Location as it is fairly close to all the major tourist spots like Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Bascilica Cistern. There is a very nice cafe just across the road where you can have breakfast, lunch dinner etc. Free Wifi available in the room and the speed was great. Kahar, the guy managing the place was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone to stay.

  Hospitality is SUPER GREAT, the staff is incredible. We felt as in home. Thank You. Things we liked: - Location: the hotel is located in sultanahmet, which is close to the city's landmarks (TopKapi, Blumosque, AgaSofia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazzar) and others. Location is really perfect. This hotel is best for a city-trip. It's 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue Moscue. Tram station is also not so far. The building is a historic one, after the restoration. Living in a tradition house is a special experience for travelers. Staff is extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast is quite simple but absolutely enough to start your day in Istanbul!

  Located in a perfect area, great terrasse, galatalife is a really good base to visit istanbul, istiklal and taksim at walking distance, and galata tower and area straitght down the street. the staff is escellent, helpful, and friendly. you can also take vapor in karakoy walking all down the street and visit kadikoy and all asian side, or walk to ... vad folk säger » eminonu and all touristic area crossing the bridge, about 15-20mn walk. shortly, galata life is a really friendly, cheap hotel, in one of the best are - I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel, and i like its proximity to the Istiklal district. The staff of the hotel are really nice to their guests. And i have to mention Fatih for being nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was quite small but comfortable. Heater was good. I would love to stay again in the same hotel when i come back to Istanbul.
