The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

Everything was perfect! The location was not to close to overcrowded tourist areas but still close enough to some of the city's major attractions. The staff was wonderful and always helpful. Very stylish new hotel in a nice district of Istanbul. We stayed for 5
days in the beginning of May, 3 days were hot, and 2 windy and rainy,
and it was equally comfortable in the room. We stayed in a standard
room: it is not big, but enough space for 2 people with a big suitcase.

Very good location: on the tram line that goes to the historical center
and not far from the funicular (the transportation mean) that goes to
Taksim comercial area. Next to the Bosphorus touristic port and
ferryboat that crosses to the Asian side. Friendly and dedicated staff.
Good breakfast. Good restaurant (for having also the other meals of the
day). Clean and properly maintained.

The service at the reception is amazing. They helped us look up times for boat trips, asked how our day was and even organized transportation to the airport when we left.

Location is ideal, only about 200m away from Tophane tram station. Staffs were always at their service 24hr, and would do far beyond for your comfort.
The apartment is new, so brightness & cleanliness is guaranteed.
