Location - Only a few minutes walk from the blue mosque and another few minutes will take you to Ayasofya and other major attractions. There was a mosque too right next to our room, but only for males.
Market - we arrived on Wednesday and there was a market selling fruit, vegetables, cheeses and much more. A good way to save on food!
They provide a small gas burner and basic cutlery, you might want to bring a small pocket knife.

The hotel location is perfect. its close to taksim sqaure and istiklal street and shops all around.
the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sultan Ahmet area is 20 min drive. I recommend this hotel for for everyone.

Most of all I liked in Fides Old city hotel was silence. Hotel is very
silent and comfortable.Also there is a small park in front of Fides
Hotel I liked it a lot .It is very closed to Ayasofiya and train. And
you can go to seaside by walking around 10 min. Near the hotel there is
a lot marts and cafes which works almost till the midnight. If you want
to have a silent and comfortable trip I can advice it to you.

This is my 2nd stay at the apartment and 10 out of 10 highly recommended.The apartment is in the city center which made it convenient to move around.The staff were extremely responsible ,polite,warm and friendly.The most important thing is that cleaning for me I can say that the lady who cleans the apartment was doing her best.Public transports on your door step.Reasonably price .

The Venera hotel staff and facilities were excellent. The view of the sea/city from the terrace is great. WiFi of very good quality. The placement of the hotel in the Laleli neighborhood is giving a good opportunity to explore as pedestrian the old part of the city (SultanAhmet) in your (remaining) free time. Our stay was great! The reception staff was always there to give us informations and the breakfast delicious (you have it at their sister hotel, Naz Wooden). Streets at night weren't afraid at all, absolutely not an issue, ad if you want to skip some part of the 'not that dark street' there's two way for returning to the apartment.

It has been a compfortable stay with Good Inside furnishing but Outside is depending on your choice. It seems a residential area but with Peaceful environment. No regular cleanliness, but i beleive you can ask for it and they provide.
