  We had a fantastic deal on the hotel through letsbookhotel.com, and paid 350 euro for four nights. When we got to the hotel, a sign said our room would have sold for 240/night! For the price, we were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were spacious and quite luxurious, with a comfortable bed and grand bathroom (including a fantastic shower). I had read complaints about a poor breakfa - The hotel is perfectly located in the European part but with Dolmus (6 euro) easy to go (direct) to the azian side. Opera is close to Taksim, where is the Hilton, Hiatt, .. all big famous hotels, BUT Opera (small scale) positions itself in the middle of all The room we stayed in is loung and extermely beautiful, view on Bosphurus, all windows. Also the resto on topfloor perfect and briljant food!

  Overall hotel was good, clean and located near Kabatas tram station. Most of staff spoke English. Stayed there for 2 days but I was mostly out for sightseeing.   Basically everything, the apartment was in an amazing location and clean. I had it with two balconies one on each side looking on sea side and the local street. Orhan (owner/Manager) is a very friendly and welcoming person and takes care of the property well. This is not a hotel, but a fully fernished apartment.   the host was amazingly kind, He was all the time helping us and suggesting us places to go and the best way to go there. Actually when we arrived he even gave us a nice introduction about the city that was very helpful. I had to fly home on May 1st, the day had a big political demonstration in the city and police roadblocks prevented all cars in and out including taxis.   The receptionists were exceptionally excellent in providing extra information for a new guest like me who did not have much knowledge about Istanbul - it was nice and bubbling for someone like me who loves city life. Breakfast was nice and I enjoyed my stay.

  Konak Hotel is the best - We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Istanbul. Friendly and always helping receptionists. Room was arranged every day. My 3 year old son was very comfortable. Room is ideal for couple with one kid. Located very close to Taksim and close to shopping street. Taxis come next to the door. Perfect value for money. - Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square.
