  We (mum, older brother and I) absolutely loved our stay at Nar Galata hotel. We stayed there for 17 days, so it truly became our home and it was a great hotel. The staff were wonderful and SO helpful. The rooms were perfect size and able to fit all our stuff and we had HEAPS of stuff. The breakfast was amazing - SO much variety!   We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.   They offer a car service from the airport (for a fee). The Concierge/Reception are very friendly and try to accommodate any requests...ask for Ahmet, he's the best! They upgraded me to a suite without me even inquiring. They had cleaning staff come daily to tidy my apartment. (Note: Rooms Galata is located on a steep incline- which I loved for daily excerc - Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room.   I booked Deluxe One-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View, the apartment is very spacious, clean and well-furnished. Wireless internet is provided with free of charge and the speed is excellent. Mainly suitable for families with their children as there are plenty of facilities and entertainments for them. Also, the place is ver - I read so many critics about the services and standard of the hotel just a night before traveling there. To my surprise, the services where nothing compared to what I've read online. If something, it is better than I've ever expected as for the apartments are extremely bigger and more beautiful than the pictures online. Everywhere is properly cleaned, all equipments and facilities are up and running, good customer service, 24hr room service and you find taxis parked outside all the time(24hr).

  I liked the comfortbale and beautifuly designed rooms, they had used every bit of space, since the rooms were a bi t small, but it hink they must have spent around 15 thousand dolalrs in each rooms decorationa and remodelling.
