We enjoyed the relaxed/friendly atmosphere of the hotel, it's beautiful eating area, gardens and pool. The staff were very attentive and polite. Food was plentiful, fresh, tasty and always enough if you wanted more. Turkish breakfast fabulous, Evening meal delicious. Vegetarian and meat menu both available. Drink prices are very reasonable at this hotel which is unusual, however I think the owner has got a great balance and knows what her guests want...If hotels overcharge for drinks people w.
alla recensioner » As a solo traveller I enjoyed the safe, friendly environment. There were other solo travellers in the hotel as well as couples and it was very social. The pool was a tropical haven but the beach was only 100m from the hotel. The hotel provides a modest smogasboard meal that is cheap and healthy. I ate there each night of my stay. The staff are very friendly too. Everything in the room worked well. It is a quiet location. I highly recommend this hotel. The only catch is that if you don't have yo. The hotel is quiet at the end of the beach of Cisme, about 3km from the Fethiye city centre. Cisme beach is packed with british eateries. Ain't nuttin' wrong with that, but it isn't my kind of holiday. Vanilla feels like a safe haven. A beatiful garden with nice swimmingpool, a very nice bartender, friendly service from the mother and daughter who run the hotel. The breakfast was good, and the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom we had was small and had no (room for a) curtain, but we ch. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is situated in a quiet location everything is within easy reach. The dolmus stop is approx 50/60 metres away. The rooms are basic but clean with pristine white bedding. The showers always had hot water and had good power. Breakfast consisted of the usual Turkish cuisine but was plentiful. Sitting by the well kept pool in the mature garden you could imagine you was on some tropical island. Hotel Vanilla provides excellent value f. Very friendly two wonderful persons (Mum & Daughter) running this Hotel ! Nice swimming pool in a tropical garden , breakfast was like having a private concert with birds singing for you ! Awesome!!If you wanna spend couple of days exploring the region, your best bet would be staying here as a base and having your daily excursions. Hotel is located some 5-6 K's from the city center which you could reach with a Dolmus in 15 minutes. Cost you like an Euro. It's a nice little hotel in the tourist area outside of Fethyie (we didn't know this area was a total tourist area when we booked it as we only intended to stay 1 night, so if you're not into that then the location is not right for you). Rooms are nice and clean. Best part is the the patio. Nice pool and outside area. Breakfast was tasty (buffet with quite some variety). The Rooms were friendly, light and comfortabel. The Owner and her doughter has been very nice. As we didn´t come for breakfast ( because of to long sleeping) the ask (at 11 A.m) if the should do ouer breakfast later. Soooo nice. Also the garden and pool area is very nice. Also the area surroundet is not so tourismen and much cheaper than the central part of fethiye. This hotel was the best value we experienced throughout our trip in turkey. The rooms are large and very clean. The breakfast like the evening meal was fantastic. We ate a sumptuous buffet feast for just 15 TL. Ask the extremely friendly and helpful manager to organise a days boat trip to the islands - an idyllic way to spend a day in Fethiye!. Location- Calis is like a suburb on the outside of Fethiye. It is right by the sandy beach. Great little village for excellent eating out. Easy to catch the Dolmus to the city. It's close to Cali's beach, but a little far from Feithye city centre. The time I went is Turkish holiday, so there are many tourists. Matching bedspreads and curtains would have made a huge difference to the look of the bedrooms and the beds were a little hard for our personal taste. Staff needs to speak at least one language ! If you 're a foreigner you may encounter language problems. But i was told by the owner that they've hired some new staff with language skills. But then again this is a minor problem !!!. The walls are very thin. You will hear the majority of what goes on in the neighbour rooms and the hallway. The bathroom is smal but clean and for the price, absolutely O.K. Nothing. Hotel could benefit from some minor renovations and more english-speaking staff. None. It's little far from fethiye and also from oludeniz, but u can get easy conveince (mini bus). The neighborhood is not as nice as the hotel itself. None. If you're looking for lots of things to do, you're better off staying in Fethiye proper. This hotel is actually 7k north in a small village called Calis. It's perfect for families or older couples looking for peace and quiet. If you have a car, though, it's very easy to drive to Fethiye's marina where all the action is. It's a very nice beach and not as crowded as the bigger city. The staff doesn't speak English very well. They were very helpful, but it was a struggle to communicate. would like to see more brits here!. nothing apart from mosqitos.
