  We loved the swimming pools and pool bar. Also there is a lot of palms and other greenery around and it is very tropical looking. Also we had a great welcome and our room was decorated with rose pedals. The resort is very clean. Breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food. We believe it would be an ideal location for young children and families and will hopefully return with ours!

  It was not too crowded so plenty of space by the pool. Beach was lovely. On site shop, splash world (children loved it). Landscaping was relaxing. Safe envirnment, very little traffic. Restaurant choice was good with local restaurants near by if you wanted a change of scenery. Very helpful staff.   We booked one night away from being busy parents on our honeymoon and had an amazing time at La Flora. A beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. A lovely lady could not wait to take us to our room and show us the honeymoon cake, decorations and special things they had arranged for us. Loved the location so close to Bangala - If you decide to stay in Patong, this place has a great location, with immediate access to the sea, a short walk to all shopping and night-life venues. The service is excellent both by reception and concierge,... Any program you can organise with the help of the concierge locally. The breakfast is OK, too. Well, it's definitely not top-luxury, but clean, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Definitely gay-friendly, the gay beach is right behind the hotel.

  Location was great - a short walk to the busy party street and around the hotel had plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Room was cozy & air conditioner was surprisingly OK. Staff were nice but slow to act on requests (could be a common theme across Thailand).   We stayed in a Junior suite in the Thani wing (on beach) Bhuri wing is across the road and not as nice. We also had a family package which included a fantastic huge buffet breakfast and 10% of all other F & B in the resort. Great Happy Hour in beach bar. Also, just a short ride in taxi or tuk tuk to Kata or Karon shops and lots of restauran... vad folk säger » ts. We stayed as well at Bang Tao beach at Outrigger Resort which was beautiful and more luxurious - but preferred Katathani due to its location and - Really nice hotel, lots of facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kata. The first night we had a lot of noise around our room in a ground floor Bhuri wing room (near to the breakfast restaurant), so the next morning I spoke to reception and they immediately moved us to a top floor room elsewhere in the Bhuri wing and after that we slept very well. Worth getting down to the little cafes on the beach and grab yourself a cheap coco
