  The view of the lush mountainside from our balcony...a great place to just be at peace.. and the fact I had the choice of air conditioning or leaving my door wide open to let the cool evening air in, along with the ceiling fan. Staying at villa atchara is a truly special experience - 2 minute walk from all the action, hidden on a side street. Nice and quiet for sleeping, and hanging out by the pool. Suggest upgrading from the standard room. Stayed in room #1, had a spacious room with sitting area and 2 balconies. The bed was so so comfortable, to die for!

  The staff were extremely helpful, the little bus service to and from your accommodation was great given it is built on a hillside. You are close to Patong, but the area is quiet, relaxing and beautyful. The resort was very stylish and fresh with lots of artistic and elegant details. I would love to go back as soon as possible.

Staff were nice but slow to act on requests (could be a common theme across Thailand).   We booked one night away from being busy parents on our honeymoon and had an amazing time at La Flora. A beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. A lovely lady could not wait to take us to our room and show us the honeymoon cake, decorations and special things they had arranged for us. Loved the location so close to Bangala - If you decide to stay in Patong, this place has a great location, with immediate access to the sea, a short walk to all shopping and night-life venues. The service is excellent both by reception and concierge,... Any program you can organise with the help of the concierge locally. The breakfast is OK, too. Well, it's definitely not top-luxury, but clean, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Definitely gay-friendly, the gay beach is right behind the hotel.
