We have stayed for 8 days in ocean facing pool villa (children 14 and 4 years old). The view was great. Very nice and quite place for families with children. We once had visited the Chaweng beach and quickly came back from the noise, crowd to rest in The Sea Hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to young people who would like to enjoy the nightlife

of the sea. Enjoy the sea breeze early in the morning. Great night

Location and grounds -- It is somewhat removed, but that's what I sought, to get away from bustle and crowds at Chaweng, Lamai, Bo Phut. Great setting for villas. Rent a motorbike and it's perfect.
Staff was superb.
Surprisingly large wine selection, very fairly priced for Thailand. Food also a reasonable value for resort dining.

This was an excellent hotel - every detail was exceptional from the room quality (the Sunset Suite), the services, the hospitality and the location. Everything looked exactly like the pictures - if not better- and the resort was extremely peaceful on Mae Nam Beach, yet easily accessible. Could not rate this resort any higher!

bit poor and untidy village, but it is the real Thailand. -
almost everything!! great location, the infinity pool, the beach, the rooms, our private pool. absolutely beautiful resort!! amazing views. the satay lady on the beach has amazing satays, corn, fruits!!
staff were very friendly, great service. all our requests were instantly met. the resort itself is stunning!! must visit.
you can rent a scooty just outside the resort - best way to explore the island!
