  Although you won't impress outsiders with the outlook of the place ( it is in a small kind of dead end street and the entrance looks like a small breakfast spot ) you will very much enjoy the room and the people working there. Property located in a quiet backstreet but a stone's throw from the river and 3 minutes walk to Tha Thien pier for the river taxis to Wat Arun & everywhere else. Market close by. 10 minutes walk gets you to the Royal Palace grounds.

  Giant fan even though it made no difference. Staff very friendly. Shower and toilet always clean. Got given our own roll of toilet tissue so never had a problem with running out!   Undrade lite om varför vi fick byta från Sawasdee Bangkok Inn till Sawasdee Khaosan Inn. Det var kanske fullbokat.Det visade sig vara lika bra (förutom innegården med cafét)!   I just really liked this hotel. It is on Khosan Road so it does get noisy, but it does not last throughout the night. If you are early to bed....then you may want to go elsewhere. Staff - they were so nice, very accommodating and smiles which is rare in that area. Room was spotless with some very nice touches. Towels were big, clean, white and fl... vad folk säger » uffy. You also got a hand towel - bed was very comfortable. The best part, and you don't see this often, was the shower - plenty of hot, lovely clean - We requested an early check in, and they let us check in at 6am, which was great as we arrived by bus from a 14 hour trip. The rooms were not anything to write home about, but they were clean, and the location was great.
