  I really liked this hotel. A friend and I rented a designer 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were well appointed, comfortable, modern and clean. The hotel daily breakfast was great. All the Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great and assessable to everything via short 10 min walk. I would definitely - Once in a rare while these days you come across a true gem. This apartment hotel is one of those. The accommodation is first rate, the food superb and the staff professional and friendly. No one can do enough for you. The gym is full sized the pool enormous and everything seems brand new. I cannot praise it enough as you can see. If i were a luxury hotel owner I would be quaking in my boots at this type of competition.   The staff were really helpful and polite/friendly. They made sure we had a quiet room towards the back (furthest from Sathorn Road, and not on the side facing the Australian Embassy, where the traffic noise seems to come in more). The room was clean and comfortable, with shower, jug, fridge, etc. in working order. They weren't too busy, and there ... vad folk säger » were no package (groups of) tourists, so that made for a pleasant stay :). - The hotel is very convenient for embassies in Bangkok. Not very far from some nightlife and night markets you could walk it but I hailed a taxi and it was only 40 thb to get there. The reception is very helpful and the manager could not do enough.

  Malaysia used to be a backpacker or old Asia hands and partly "specialised clientele" kind of hotel. I lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and only went to use their fax machine. Back in BKK for a few days, and reading how the newest, modern facilities in Si Bamphen were quickly deteriorating, I was intrigued by some recent good comments about ... vad folk säger » the Malaysia. There were right. Malaysia has retained some of it's "old Asia hand" customers, but is now also booked by families and groups of young - Friendly and efficient reception staff. Good security. Homely feel...wonderfully 1960s ambience and a nice location within easy reach of Silom, the park etc but not too "in the midst of it all" .
