  I had a wonderful stay at Padi Madi from June 20-23, 2013. Receptionists are very accommodating. Pimmy, for one, gave me Bangkok Map and taught me directions to reach my destination for that day. padi Madi is so close to Thong Lo BTS Sukhumvit Line which gives you access almost to all attractions especially Shopping Malls and Silom, for gay night... vad folk säger » life. They even allowed me to stay a few hours beyond the 12nn check-out time. Its budget friendly too. You dont go to Bangkok to stay whole day in y - I stayed 3 nights at Padi Madi guest house. Basicly I booked for a standard room but they upgrade us for free 2 nights as they had overbook on standard room. Standard room is very good for the price. All conform we need was inside. Many channels on tv, good bed and room has aircon, really needed in Bangkok. If you need bigger room just book superior. I don’t know how much is price diffent but it was a so great room.   A very nice hotel. The location was very good - in the heart of Sukhumvit close to the metro. The room was spacious and the breakfast really nice. Located on Sukhumvit soi 33 with bars around and plenty of street food stands. Definetely a good choice fo a short stay in bkk and very good relation proce/quality.   Staff were friendly and attentive, and room was spotlessly clean. Shower head was broken, but they sent someone up to fix it immediately. Pool and tanning area were a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but it was totally adequate to take a dip to cool off. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time.   The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very modern and spacious. The staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to assist me with any need. I did not try the restaurant since I was always out but it seem to have a lot of action, so I would presume it was good. The location was key for me and it was excellent. Best of all it is very centrally located and there is no other hotel where the tube station exit is at its doorstep. The rooms were very quiet during the night. I would personally make sure i stay there whenever i go to BKK. For those who bank with Citi, well, there is a Citi branch right next door too. P.S. one of the days it was raining

Location wise is just about 300m walking distance to the nearest Asoke BTS Skytrain and 400m to Terminal 21 shopping mall.

  The staff were very friendly, the free pickup and drop off to the end of the road saves lots of walking and there is a wide range of dvds to borrow for free in the lobby. Room service is also a reasonable price. - The hotel's site seems to be hacked by some Russian hacker. The site kept switching to a Russian language site automatically.
