  We absolutely loved Zara. We paid extra on arrival and upgraded to the double pool villa for two nights as it was vacant, but then as it was booked out we thenmoved to villa 10 (grand plunge pool villa). We loved so many things about Zara. As there are only 12 or so villas in the resort, most of the time you don't see any other guests. The pools in the single villas are quite sma - This was without a doubt the best resort we ever visited in all our travelling abroad. The garden in which the villas are situated is awesome and right by the sea. This resort is excelent for people who prefer privacy, yet 20 meters walking and you're on the beach. In your private garden by the villa you would think you're alone in the jungle. Every detail of the resort is beautiful. The staff is amazing.   A great hotel and great staff. Really nice breakfast and really nice rooms. The restaurant was surprisingly good. The beachfront is a bit basic; Take a taxi to Chaweng Beach for 300 Bht or a tuc tuc for 150 Bht - Really nice and clean hotel.   The hotel is beautiful, and staff top notch. The attention to detail and special touches at every turn were outstanding. The pillows and bed were the most comfortable I have slept on in Thailand, I was ill for a day upon arrival,and spent the better part of a day in bed. You cannot believe how they pampered me.   The location of Lamai Inn is excellent, right next to the beach and close to shops and bars. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although the beach was clean and very beautiful we spent a lot of our time in the pool which was well maintained. We went at the beginning of the rainy season so had a few storms. After a few busy weeks visiting Bangkok, Vietnam and Cambodia this was a lovely pla - nice clean bungalows, we had a double room which is smaller; and a triple room which is big and recently furbished - looks brandnew; the beds are softly firm. We all had good sleep there. Location is great, 1 minute's walk to the beach, and 5-10 minutes walk to the town center (shopping/food/drink area); They have own power supply so we had electricity supply in our rooms even the whole southern Thailand had a big blackout on one night during our stay.
