  The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very modern and spacious. The staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to assist me with any need. I did not try the restaurant since I was always out but it seem to have a lot of action, so I would presume it was good. The location was key for me and it was excellent. Most of th - This was recommended by my cousin and boy was he right. Key positives include: very cordial staff, english speaking, the place is extremely clean and modern. Best of all it is very centrally located and there is no other hotel where the tube station exit is at its doorstep. The rooms were very quiet during the night. I would personally make sure i stay there whenever i go to BKK. For those who bank with Citi, well, there is a Citi branch right next door too. P.S. one of the days it was raining

I would stay here again if I where taking the train the next day, only a 5 min walk to the station (you can walk underground in the metro tunnel instead of crossing the busy road).   The staff were very friendly, the free pickup and drop off to the end of the road saves lots of walking and there is a wide range of dvds to borrow for free in the lobby. Room service is also a reasonable price. - The hotel's site seems to be hacked by some Russian hacker. The site kept switching to a Russian language site automatically.

  We love the clean and homely layout of the rooms, conveniently near to Bumrungrad Hospital, so much to see along the side walk and near to Nana station too.   Staff were friendly and attentive, and room was spotlessly clean. Shower head was broken, but they sent someone up to fix it immediately. Pool and tanning area were a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but it was totally adequate to take a dip to cool off. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time.   We booked 4 nights in Amber Hotel. Arrived in Amber Hotel on 19th September, we were told the hotel was overbooked and we were asked to move in to other hotel for the first night. The hotel is such a great value for money in terms of comfortability, cleanliness and facilities. It is also a new hotel with great design. The location is fair, about 700 meters to the nearest BTS Chong Nonsi (approximately 10 minutes walk). However, the heat of the day in Bangkok makes it feel like miles away from the sky train, let alone the busy traffic all the time of the day.   One of the best hotels I have ever stayed .the hotel is location is at the heart of the sukhmvit where all the night life comes alive. The room was very clean and tidy with a nice big tv and plenty of channels to choose from. For Bangkok we thought this was value for money at 1800 Baht per night.
