my large room with a wiew. Game room. none! very dirty. no tv on room. too noisy becasue it is loacted besides the main road and probably you are woken up by the sound of engine at night. smelly and dirty room, nasty beddings.

Lodge team provides swiss breakfast-, lunch and dinner-catering on request.

Hotel information details

The Lake Side Lodge is a charming former school building in the middle of
the village Faulensee on the border of the beautiful lake Thun in the
Bernese Oberland. The house is freshly renovated, the warm colors put you in
a comfortable mood.

Information about the area

The Lake Side Lodge has it’s own sports field with volleyball-, basketball,
table tennis and boccia installations. Thy bicyclist finds a little workshop
for his needs and a bike locker. For rock-climbers the area has about 30
climbing walls (also indoor) and the hiker finds endless beautiful tours for
every level from a easy walk to very alpine excursions. The paragliding
pilot is happy with a dozen great start- and landing areas in the region.

The lake Thun and the Bernese Oberland are Switzerland’s most beautiful
vacation, recreation and activity region. From a great culinary selection to
cultural highlights, breathtaking mountain-excursions and the world’s most
intense adventure activities - we can make everything possible to make your
stay an unforgettable one.

Room information details

Each floor has a 4-/6-/12-bed room, for the group-leader
there is a individual double room. Shared showers and toilets are found on
each floor. Under the roof the lake Side Lodge provides a cozy dormitory
with 32 beds.

Travelling information

your arrival by train:
• get off train at “Spiez”
• take ASKA-bus to “Faulensee”
• exit at stop “Faulensee Schule”

your arrival by bike/car from Interlaken:
• take exit “Faulensee”
• enter the village
• hard left turn, after 100m left hand side

your arrival by bike/car from Bern/Thun:
• A6 direction Interlaken, take exit Spiez
• follow blue signs direction Interlaken
• 400m after you pass the sign “Faulensee” on right hand side
