  Great location with a superb view over one of the cities emblematic features (Gamla Stan). All the other main points of interest are within seconds distance. The accomodation is 5 star.   Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. It is a budget accommodation of course, but it perfectly satisfies your basic needs - rooms are clean and comfortable, showers are decent, well equipped kitchens and nice light breakfast. Guests of all types make a really fun mixture, hostel is busy but not too noisy. - The atmosphere was really calm and friendly, informal yet absolutely non-intruding, creating instant "at-home" feeling. I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple. I would definitely wish to stay in this hostel again when visiting Stockholm next time! Free simple breakfast for a limited time in the morning.   Residence Perseus was clean, airy, well appointed and absolutely central to the Gamla Stan area of Stockholm, yet away from the tourist frenzy of tours and souvenir shops. It looked onto a small park which gave a sense of spaciousness. Management, mainly contactable through mobile phone or email was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend - location - in charming old world section with narrow cobblestone street. Lots of restaurants and shopping as well as museums and palaces to visit within walking distance. Ideal for us, complete with kitchen which was useful for breakfast and snacks.

While you do 'share a room' and the bathrooms with others, there's a huge room divided into smaller bedrooms for individual travelers, with glass walls and curtains and a special key code to get into your individual room. I guess I'd call it sort of a hotel/hostel hybrid. It's a neat place to stay, and in my opinion wort - This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'.   Excellent location - centrally located in the heart of Stockholm with excellent restaurants very close. Hotel offered a great breakfast and was included in room price. Nice seating area on second floor...could site outside as well with waterfront just across the street.   I liked the perfect location in the heart of Stockholm. Because some areas are shared a connection, even if brief happens easily, with other guests which is quite nice. Generosity: free coffee, tea and pasta (you cook it yourself). Computer for Internet and cityguidance. You have a fully equipped kitchen you can use. Nobel Museum and Storakyrkan are both across the street. I spent my first four nights in Stockholm in Sodermalm, paying more for a bed in a four-bed room than I did for a bed in a nine-bed room in Gamla Stan.

  The location is perfect, since the boat is anchored to the shore of the Old City (Gamla Stan). I reserved a Superior Room, with a nice view on Skeppsholmen Island and the white vessel anchored there. My room had also a nice bathroom, much larger than I expected on a boat, with bath and a boat window (I guess this is a plus of the Superior room onl... vad folk säger » y). Last but not least, I found very romantic to sleep on a boat! - This was a good hostel, I did not mind the size of the room very much. The staff was very good, and I booked a room without a window, and then they were too nice to give me a room with a window! The view is very cool and the location is excellent, right by the old town and a short walk from the national museum and the important locations in Stockholm. The price is fair in an expensive city like Stockholm!
