  We loved the feel of this house. The stone spiral stairs, the bare wood floors and the vaulted ceilings gives it so much charm. Although it has old world charm, it is incredibly cosy and warm.   The rooms are beautiful and very practical. The beds have two small single bed duvets but i was alone and was not an issue. Reception is open 24/7 so had no problem checking out at 2 in the morning. The rooms are modern, clean, and with kitchen, which was important to me as I was bringing a cheese back to the States that I hiked into the Alps to purchase. :) The staff were very friendly and super helpful. It's a quick Tunnelbana to T-Central. For me, the old portion of the city was within a very comfortable walking distance.

  It was a ten minute walk to the tube if walking by street level. The neat thing was the funicular was across the street so it was a short walk if you used it. It was free to ride!
