  After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.

  It felt like a home away from home! Truly a breathtaking area, walking distance to golf clubhouse and stunning golf course, easy access to the many wine estates!   Esther made sure our stay was very comfortable from arranging airport pickups and suggesting local activities such as the Blaauklippen Market, Wine Tasting and Lunch at Hidden Valley Winery, etc. In addition the golf course was good and had an a very picturesque setting and will truly memorable and need I say more about the 2008 Shiraz.   We booked very short notice. Still this was no problem. Amazing breakfast. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Very nice staff, Hardy knows all the nice winehouses to go to for winetastings. Furthermore they also know a lot about the country in general and have good tips on places to go and see. The hotel is in the one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen - surrounded by mountains on every side. Even though it was freezing at night, the room was nice and cosy and warm. Comfortable bed, huge spa-bath, extremely well-priced accommodation - oh and for breakfast we had the best bacon I've ever had.

  The service at Rusthuiz Guest House was fautless. The most welcoming and helpful team we experienced in South Africa. The team were fantastic in recommending restaurants and managed to secure us a table at late notice. All staff at Rusthuiz were a pleasure! Beautiful gardens and building, with fine rooms. Our bedroom was stunning - large comfortable and a fab balcony.All the staff were great and did so much to make our stay perfect. Reserved supper, spoilt us when we sat by the tranquil swimming pool. Perfection. Loved our stay and thought the beach basket with towels was a wonderful addition.

  The Spa with its gym, suana and steam room that I could use without extra cost, the breakfast was excellent and the weather forecast with something sweat each evening was special. The spa treatments was well done and the spa has a warm and friendly atmosphere.   The cottage is situated in the most beautiful mountain area and a very short drive to Stellenbosch. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine on a very cold evening . It is spacious, neat and absolutely adorable. We will definitely stay there again!
