  The manager was excellent and did all she could to make our stay a pleasant one. For the price, the facilities were much better than expected. Our stay was relaxing. There is plenty to do around St Lucia with the various parks and wetlands. - Beautiful lodge and garden, with view over forest to sea and lagoon. Close to town facilities.   We really enjoyed our stay there. Our hosts where just great to talk to. Very friendly and knowlegeable on the area. He greated us with a refreshing drink and took the time to tell us about the area, the good restaurants and what to visit. He provided us with a local maps and great tips for local tours. The breakfas - This is a excellent property in every way. We stayed in a room with a private entrance and small terrace overlooking the garden. It was a treat to wake each morning to the sounds of birds in the trees and sun filtering through the window. The room was well appointed, extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast served each morning on the upstairs terrace was a delight - delicious food and an abundance of everything. Our hosts, Derek and Hettie and their son Colin were a

  We had the most amazing idyllic view from our balcony. The inn has seen its better days but it's wonderful still, beautiful gardens not fenced or gated like most other hotels in South Africa. The room was white with cathedral ceilings and a four poster bed, as well as a n - Lovely rooms we stayed in the self-catering lodges. View beautiful. Good Beds. Liked the fact that we could self cater or go to restaurant for breakfast. Even though restaurant closed in May during low guests they did offer room service for dinners.

  I arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight an mess up with my car rental, but when I arrived Glynis was there with a big smile and my keys. Breakfast was a feast every morning & on my last day we went out deep sea fishing & left very early in the morning. I would recommend Igwalagwala Guest House to anyone looking for a clean, freindly place to stay, with Hosts - The genuine, warm friendliness of our welcome on arrival.   The owners were wonderful to us. Service was perfect. This small family built lodge has a few rooms in the middle of a beautiful jungle garden. We really enjoyed our stay. - Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic!

  Afrikaya is so nice, Joyce gives plenty of information about St-Lucia, it is also a good place to stay if you want to do a safari in the Hluwehluwe park. This park is even better than Krugerpark! Make sure you book with Eurozulu, they will pick you up at Afrikaya at 5 am to take you to the park with an experienced guide (we had Zamani) he knows wh... vad folk säger » ere to find the animals and gives you a lot of information. Definately worth the trip to St-Lucia! Also recommended: Zulu experience (Eurozulu) and do - Joyce and Maurice were great hosts we loved talking to them about St Lucia and Africa in general.Both are well informed and really great hosts. Their staff are some of the best we have encountered. The breakfasts are wonderful and nothing we asked for was too much trouble to accomodate

  We stayed 8 people in the apartment with a huge terasse with a great view over the forrest and the sea in the background. Just beneath is the great and clean pool and a little garden. Bianca was very helpfull with information and loaning us maps for a safari trip to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Little Eden made it really easy to enjoy - their staff are friendly, always happy to help and willing to bend over backwards for you. The accomodation was lovely! We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed a stunning view of the Estuary and Ocean every morning. One night, we even had a hippo wander into the garden - amazing to see - but a little scary at the same time.

  The owners make you very welcome in their home. The location is very quite, short drive/walk to St. Lucia mainstreet. Upon arrival we received an extended explanation of St. Lucia and surroundings, which was very helpfull. Breakfast is delicious!
