The location was a little peace of haeven with a nice garden..during the night is possible that in the middle of the garden could pass some hippos that's coming out to eat grass!! Amazing and exciting! The staff (André and Thea) is helpful, friendly and very enjoyable! Not far from reasturants and parks!.

The Location is very good and convenient. Close to shops and restaurants.

Decor is a bit old, shower has no towels, but no real problem.
Bathroom is a bit small.
They need to invest in a new bed. Although it was clean, but looks old. Same with bedding.
The furnishings are a bit old and scruffy. Did not feel we got value for money. Have stayed in far cheaper places that had much better facilities.

Travelling information
From the South take the N2 North. Approximately 225 km later leave the N2 and turn-off to Mtubatuba. At the T-Junction turn left and then approximately 360 metres later turn right into the R618. Approximately 25 km further along you enter St Lucia Estuary.
From the North take the N2 South. Approximately 170 km further leave the N2 and turn off to Mtubatuba. The R618 leads off to your left and 25 km further you enter St Lucia Estuary.
When you cross the bridge into St Lucia, turn right at the Traffic Circle into the main road Mc Kenzie Street. Continue on until you reach the next Traffic Circle, don't turn. Continue straight for 50 meters. To your right you will see the sign board for Lake St Lucia Lodge.
