  The hotel is ideally situated close to the beach with panoramic views of the beach and sea. Good seafront walks in the area. Hotel was clean and comfortable with welcoming,friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast very good - "Best service ever at Sandbaai Country House..when you come this side visit them - its clean, they're not n your face, service... vad folk säger » good and owners wonderful people".   The friendly and helpful lady who looked after us made our stay a happy one. She called the whale watching company for us, without being asked, to check whether our trip was cancelled because of the weather, and was able to recommend a good place to eat when we arrived late the first night. Nothing seemed too much for her. - Lovely place, very pe... vad folk säger » aceful, good breakfast. The owner kindly prepared it for us a bit earlier as we had to leave. It's a bit far from the centre (nice walk along the coast though) but the new harbour is just around the corner so very good location for whale watching.

  We were given a warm welcome by Jane and initial tour of the facilities. She told us of local events and tours which were very helpful. Proximity to places of interest Secure,Quiet and peaceful. The decor was really attractive. The entire guesthouse was nicely decorated and spotless clean. Jane made it possible for our last minute outdoor braai. We would hig - very spacious room, like the bathroom. very clean. quiet neighborhood and near the center of Hermanus (5 minutes by car). the lady who runs the guest house 'was very nice and welcoming, as always we found in south africa. We visited several cities along the garden route (as well as within the near Kruger), but hermanus has something special. 'a city' fantastic. cliffs, beaches, mountains.
