The staff where very helpfull and at all times friendly greeting with a smile! Although we had some loud pigs also staying at the hotel the staff where there bright and early cleaning up our room had fresh towels every day with topup coffee ect. Just wish there where more to do in richardsbay it self or like the locals would say retard bay. Rooms are basic but comfortable and it's always good to have a kettle. Staff very friendly and willing to accommodate requests (eg. fridge, hairdryer). Central position to shops, beaches, and small craft harbour.

Clean, neat, comfortable rooms. All-night security at parking. Impressive gardens. Accurate billing corresponding with prior quote. Beautiful garden between buildings gives makes one forget that it's a hotel. It feels like home. Rooms are large and comfortable. Front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very good staff, clean very good location, perfect for leisure and bussines, relaxing. service from the lady who helped us, I think its was Nothando. Maybe you can upgrade the pool table and a few more channels on TV. extremely noisy 'neighbours'. Leaking tap in bathroom (room 340). Noise, I complained twice about all the noise in the passage from other residents and cleaning staff, My room was moved from 372 to 304. I asked the staff a couple of times while in 304 not to shout to each other when they stand next to each other when they worked in an area close by. I decided to leave a day early to come and rest at home as it is more peacefull. The Inn is not a good holiday venue but ideal for conferences. Do have a laundry service, but no washing lines somewhere to dry beach towels, and room 397, the aircon rattles alot in the room. nothing. They didn't read my note on the booking as a result I was given two single beds intead of one double bed, but this was retified the next day. nothing. we were in a block with school children who kept us awake for much of the night. shortage of towels and fridges to be placed in rooms cos of humidity so water can be kept. 2 ladies working at recepsion 1 lady helped me and the decided to go and talk to the other ladies while se made me wait. Too noisy. Bar area - have a seperate pool room. smell when you enter the room. We arrived at 15.00 to check in and when we got to the room we found that there were no bath towels in our room. They finally arrived at about 15.45!. Air conditioning not effective TV not tuned properly Door awkwardly placed near bed. There was no bedside telephone The family room had a sleeper couch for kids and not seperate single beds The sleeper couch linen had to be requested and the blankets were not available, unfortunately it was a very cold weather on 09 August. Due to blankets not available/enough, the 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) of us shared a bed. The aircon was not working properly at room 399.I will appreciate if it can be fixed. I indicated in my booking that I will be traveling with my two young kids but the room I got is not the one I was promised. We were forced to squeeze in two adults and two kids in one room. The room was extremely stuffy and the carpets were stinking as though they were damp. The sleeper couch that my kids had to sleep on was very dirty... I was very disappointed.

From Richards Bay Airport: - When exiting the airport you'll be in Fish Eagle Flight road. - Follow this road until you come to a 4-way stop. Turn right into Nkoninga Road. - Turn left at the Yield sign into East Central Arterial Road. - Cross over the first set of traffic lights and then over a 4-way stop and continue until you reach the second set of traffic lights (the main intersection) - Turn left at the Yield sign. - Continue down the main road until you reach the T-Junction, passing John Ross College on your right. - Turn left towards Meerensee (R34). - You're now on the John Ross Parkway. Continue straight along this road, passing Bundu Nursery on your left and cross over the bridge. - After the Meerensee signboard, the road turn towards the left - keep right and turn right at the break in the island (the brown "hotels" sign will guide you) - You're now in Hibberd Drive.
