  The excellent rate I got through letsbookhotel.com, the spacious, comfortable well-appointed room and bathroom, the lovely old-style feel although the hotel could definately do with a make-over/a bit of freshening-up. - The stay was so pleasant and the staff was always available to help.   The hotel is well priced but the location is very dodgy to say the least.We were able to get parking at least.The close proximity of the bars are a huge turnoff and that coupled with the night staff at the front desk being so indifferent to my child who tried to greet was not a great advert for the hotel.I Was happy with the rest of the staff as w... vad folk säger » ell as the neatness and breakfast was satisfactory.I Will not stay there again.It is not kid friendly. - We had a nice weekend @ Albany hotel together with my friends. The positive thing is transport is just near meaning local taxis without a hassle in just few seconds. The friendly staff of Albany hotel always available to assist with a smile. It was funished with antique furniture and the bed was of a good qual - The total experience, but primarily the rewriting of history.   Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.
